Benson Man Acused Of Sex With Dog

SMITHFIELD, N.C. (WTVD) — A Johnston County man is behind bars for allegedly having sex with his dog.

According to search warrants obtained by ABC11, David Lee Carter of Benson was arrested on several counts of crimes against nature along with indecent liberties with a child.

They say Carter “will-fully and feloniously did commit the abominable and detestable crime against nature with a male canine, family pet named ‘Drake‘, (one and half year old Boxer.)”

Deputies told ABC11 they began investigating the 25 year old on Tuesday. They said Carter is charged with indecent liberties because he allegedly had sex with the dog in front of a child.

Carter was in the Johnston County jail.

Jailed for Bestiality And Child Abuse Photos

A WESTON man has been jailed for possessing more than 11,000 indecent images of children, as well as images of bestiality.

David Page, of Woodpecker Drive, pleaded guilty to 16 charges of making indecent photographs of a child, one of possessing an indecent photograph of a child and two charges of possessing an extreme pornographic image of active intercourse with an animal.

Bristol Crown Court heard on Tuesday the 46-year-old’s computer had been seized when a warrant was obtained in May last year and a number of images and video files were found. The images and movies varied in ratings for the most serious child sex images – with animal abuse being the highest category.

A total of 11,816 images were found on his computer – varying from level one to five, and 122 movie files, varying from level one to four.

Nadeem Aullybocus, mitigating, said Page suffered ‘significant stress’ when he lost his job.

 He said: “He started viewing normal pornography and does not understand how he progressed on to these images. It became a culture of clicking and saving, not viewing it for very long.

“He feels ashamed to meet his family members and he has an elderly mother who relies on him day to day.

“He has also had to deal with personal difficulties; he suffers from some hearing loss and type two diabetes. He also uses a device which helps him breathe at night. He deeply regrets his actions.” “Oh boo hoo, is that supposed to make us feel sorry for him? No excuse in the world for committing child or animal abuse!”

Page was sentenced to 11 months in prison and ordered to sign on to the sexual offenders register for 10 years. He was also given a sexual offences prevention order for 10 years.

Man Charged With Possessing Pornographic Images of Bestiality

“Yet another pervert who is not content with harming animals to satisfy his lust, he indulges with children too! Seriously, I’ve thought about this a lot…we don’t need animal abuse registers, just add another page to the Paedophile Register; put their names on that. Seems it is often the case, where many who partake in the disgusting sick act of bestiality or enjoy abusing & hurting animals are one way or another, at some point in their sick lives; involved with criteria that means they are, or should be; put on the Paedophile Register!

A South Godstone man has appeared in court charged with 12 offences.

Bryan Vincent Thornhill, of Langham Road, is charged with five charges of possessing pornographic images of bestiality with a dog or horse, which was “grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character”.

He is also charged with one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.

He is also charged with six further offences which were engaging in a sexual act, while in the presence of a child under the age of 13, for sexual gratification.

Thornhill, 59, pleaded not guilty to all counts at Guildford Crown Court today (Friday).

He was released on conditional bail, with conditions not to contact directly or indirectly a named child, or to go within 50m of a named school – unless agreed by social services.

He will next appear at the same court on October 21.

Physiotherapist Anthony Donoghue Jailed For Keeping Bestiality And Child Abuse Images

A pervert physiotherapist kept films and pictures of him and a woman engaging in sex acts with animals and also downloaded hundreds of child abuse images, a court heard.

The bestiality clips and photos, involving a labrador retriever and horses, dated back several years when such pornography was not illegal.

They were discovered after police raided Anthony Donoghue’s home at Sturmer Court in Kings Hill – along with more than 1,400 child sex abuse images.

Jailing the 54-year-old father for eight months, a judge branded the animal films as “really quite remarkably nasty”.

Judge Charles Macdonald QC added: “They were not criminal when made in 2004 but they are extraordinarily degrading and they were kept for no intelligible reason.”

Donoghue, now of Crawley, West Sussex, admitted six charges of possessing indecent photos of children, two of making them, one of distributing and one of possessing extreme pornography.

Maidstone Crown Court heard how using the name Peter Adams, he in March last year was in contact with a man on a gay website and arranged to meet him and “some other pervy mates”.

 Bridget Todd, prosecuting, said Donoghue sent the other man pictures of adults engaging in sex or “extreme activity”. He also sent one of a child aged five or six who he claimed he knew.

“He felt uncomfortable about what he had been sent and called the police,” said Miss Todd.

Officers went to Donoghue’s home on March 23 last year and arrested him. Computers, a camcorder and video tapes were seized. There were 66 extreme images.

Jan Hayne, defending, said Donoghue had been frank about his offending and sought treatment.

“What was not at the root of his offending was high risk sexual behaviour,” she said. “He would not behave in that manner again. He is essentially a good man.”

Miss Hayne said the majority of the images had been deleted and there were only 64 “live” pictures.

Submitting a suspended sentence could be imposed, she added: “He is an intelligent man. He appears to have lost everything.”

Judge Macdonald said sex acts with horses in a field at night took place as a precursor to sex with his female partner.

“You have lost your job,” he told Donoghue. “There is nothing which will lead me to suspend the sentence.”

Donoghue’s name will appear on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years.

A Ravenswood man admitted to possessing more than 2,500 videos and images of child pornography—some with children as young as one.

The announcement came Friday afternoon from the Cook County Sheriff’s office.

Seamus Webb, 51, was arrested Thursday and charged with four felonies for disseminating and possessing child pornography. Police said the images included bestiality and bondage of minors.

Cook County Sheriff’s Police Child Exploitation Unit found Webb in his apartment on the 1600 block of West Carmen Ave and arrested him without incident.

The arrest occurred after police received a search warrant based on information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, police said. Officers confiscated several computers and other items.

The charges—all class X felonies—include aggravated child pornography, dissemination; aggravated child pornography possession; child pornography, possession of pictures; child pornography possession of movies.

Bond for Webb was set at $100,000. His next court date is scheduled for April 11.

A Proposed Law Would Handle Animal Abusers Appropriately Without it: It’s A Judges Choice!

” Everybody should read this…especially those in the position of dealing with animals abusers!! I was always told ‘Prevention is better than cure’. So to prevent a crime in the future, one has to deal with the culprit in the here & now! But the Judicial system is not dealing with animal abusers/killers as they should…why not?”

“It would also help if there was a National Animal Abuse database!  Animal abusers could well be future killers…so stop with the ‘slap on the wrist & the suspended sentences’ they do jack shit to prevent the culprit committing future crimes…as is well known & documented. What is said here should apply to the whole world when it comes to dealing with animal abuse!!”

The man who is charged with setting fire to a cat in Bucks County must be severely punished for such a heinous crime (“Bucks man accused of burning cat can keep 2d,” Feb. 2). In addition, he must be prevented from having any contact with any other animals, even if it means depriving his son of another kitten that has been living in the home.

Animal abuse is an ominous sign. In Deadly Serious, which offers an FBI perspective on animal cruelty, Special Agent Alan Brantley recounted numerous profiles of violent criminals who had histories of animal abuse. From interviews with other agents, he found that about half of those in prison for murder had maimed and tortured animals while youths. And almost all serial killers abused animals as children. 

The psychological literature is replete with major studies that have identified the animal/human violence link. When animals are abused, people are at risk. The man who kicks the dog is just warming up. Nine of 10 abusers are male. A batterer’s first victim is often a pet. Among the men involved in both animal and human violence, the most common charges were domestic violence and child abuse. These inseparable forms of abuse must be fought as one battle.

Animal abuse is a national tragedy. We suffer from a myopia regarding the far-reaching implication. The time for corrective measures is overdue. I would suggest a nationwide campaign aimed at treating animal abuse as the serious crime it is. Until the abusers are treated like the criminals they are, we won’t change society’s attitude about the unspeakable nature of this pernicious behaviour. Animal abuse is a warning sign to be heeded. It is not a trivial matter.

Brantley emphasizes the need for stronger anti-cruelty laws and more aggressive enforcement. In a survey commissioned by the Humane Society of the United States in 1997, more than 80 percent of the respondents favoured this concept.

Also, psychiatric intervention is fundamental. Animal cruelty may indicate a family in need of professional help. It may be a symptom of a deeply disturbed family.

The tangled web of animal abuse cannot be isolated. Eighteenth-century philosopher Immanuel Kant said, “He who is cruel to animals become hard also in his dealings with men.” Animal abuse often opens the door to persistent antisocial behaviour toward humans. One’s environment does not excuse this behaviour; it only explains it.

Now we have children killing children. Too often, these youngsters show early and prolific histories of animal abuse. Anthropologist Margaret Mead said, “One of the most dangerous things that can happen to a child is to kill or torture an animal and get away with it.” Stepping in at an early point may very well break the vicious cycle of family violence.

I would urge all Pennsylvanians to contact their state senators and urge passage of House Bill 709, which has already won unanimous approval in the House. The bill, now before the full Senate for a vote, would strengthen the state’s animal-cruelty law in two ways:

Anyone convicted of cruelty to a cat or dog for a second or subsequent time would be guilty of a third-degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail and a $2,500 fine. Now, each cat- or dog-cruelty offence is considered a summary violation, punishable by up to 90 days in prison and a $300 fine.

Upon sentencing, the trial judge would be empowered to prohibit or limit the offender from owning, controlling or having custody of animals – or to prevent his or her employment in the business of animal care.

These restrictions could be imposed for the statutory maximum term of imprisonment applicable to the offence  even if the offender were sentenced to less than the full term. Now, such restrictions, as in the case of the Bucks County case, can be imposed by a judge only as a condition of bail.

This law would send another firm message that society will not tolerate animal abusers.

Germany Weighs Bestiality Ban Amid Rise of Pet Porn, Animal Brothels

Animal-rights activists are pushing Berlin lawmakers to outlaw sex with animals, as zoophiles there test the bounds of interspecies relations. Their issue: Can a pet give consent? “No it can’t, & its bloody absurd to think it can! Just because a dog will let you touch its private parts, or a male horse stand with its penis out (which they all do), it is not an invitation to have sex with them! I don’t care what their excuses are – bestiality is non consensual by definition, because animals lack the capacity to give consent; just as there are no real statistics, of how many people are into bestiality, since an animal can not report the crime either!!”

What happens behind closed doors may be nobody’s business. But when they are barn doors, it is an entirely different matter—especially in Germany, where lawmakers will vote Dec. 14 on a controversial bestiality law that could make having sex with animals a crime.

The root of the problem? An increasing number of erotic “touching” zoos and pet pornography that animal-rights activists say is abusive and degrading to animals because they are not consenting partners. “This kind of animal abuse is on the rise,” says activist Madeleine Martin, who is working to make the practice illegal in Germany. “There are even animal brothels in Germany.” “The internet has also given free speech to such people; with hundreds of sites where zoophiles can exchange story’s etc. Along with a million dollar industry that churns out sickening videos & images of sexual animal abuse with!”

“The thought of how many animals are injured or indeed killed, in the making of such videos is gut wrenching; which is why such sites should be shut down by law. One can’t charge someone with a crime, if that crime is freely being flaunted on-line; the sites & those promoting them should also be prosecuted…we have to protect the animals in every way we can!”

When one thinks of bestiality—which we assume is rarely if ever—any number of sheep and kitty wisecracks may come to mind. But zoophilia, as the practice of sex with animals is officially called, is not as rare as one might think. Zoophiles or zoosexuals tend to favour dogs, cats, and monkeys as mutual sex partners, but according to the entirely NSFW pro-zoophilia website zoophile.net dolphins, horses, goats, and pigs are also fair game. “How can anyone, justify having sexual relations with any of these animals??”

A preference for zoological affection is considered a lifestyle choice by those who quite literally “love” their animals, and the pets are often involved in sex acts between heterosexual and homosexual couples. There are also a number of beast brothels or “erotic petting zoos” in Germany, where paying customers can enjoy sex with any number of animals in a controlled environment or, in some cases, voyeurs can watch the acts in progress. “That, to any normal thinking human…it just totally sickening! Along with the very real chance of sexual diseases that can be transferred between the zoophiles & their human partners; these places are a haven for criminals into all manner of things!”

 “There are increasing reports that suggest people who abuse animals (yes they are abusing the animal, it’s not love), particularly sexually, are highly likely to commit child abuse, both sexual & otherwise, as well as other violent crimes like rape & murder! So why the hell would anyone in their right mind allow such atrocities to be legal? One would never let, or trust a child rapist around your children… nor can one ever trust an animal rapist around your animals or your children!!”

Bestiality is not new. Cave drawings in Valcamonica in northern Italy dating back to 8,000 B.C. show a man and a deer in the act and ancient Greek and Egyptian texts clearly allude to carnal love between man and beast. The practice is addressed—and forbidden—in the Old Testament of the Bible. “We know it’s not new, but we live in the 21st century & have a better understanding of what is right & wrong…the people that did it then didn’t know any better, they were Neanderthals. If that is going to be used as an excuse to permit bestiality then one might also start burning witches at the stake, or throw Christians into a Roman arena to fight lions!”

Zoophilia is illegal in about a dozen U.S. states, punishable by fines and jail terms. There are a number of websites including pet-abuse.com that list alleged cases of abuse. It is also illegal in France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, punishable by fines and the sequestration of the animals. It is strictly forbidden in most Asian countries as well. 

The act was punishable by life in prison in the United Kingdom until 2003, when the maximum term for animal sex was reduced to two years. The act was legalized in Germany in 1969 after being banned for nearly a century, following pressure by animal rights activists who pointed to a rise in animal injuries.  When the December 14 vote passes, those caught engaging in zoophilia could be fined €250,000. “Never mind just a fine, they can pay that & be on to the next animal within weeks. These people don’t get better; because they don’t think there’s anything wrong with them to start with!  They will offend again and again if they are not stopped definitively, therefore sexual predators must face jail time”.

” Any & all bestiality sites on the internet should be illegal & shut down…if one takes away as much of the temptation as possible, it’s a start to ending this prolific & damaging act against natures sentient creatures. But we also need Animal Abuse Registers to keep tabs on those caught…just like the Sex Offenders Register…people have a right to know if a sexual animal abuser lives on their street!”

“We see animals as partners and not solely as vessels for gratification.”

But not everyone agrees that there should be a blanket law forbidding the practice. “There must be proof that the animals are harmed in the act to make this illegal,” Michael Kiok of German Zoophile Engagement for Tolerance and Information told The Daily Beast. He believes that the animals display satisfaction and are willing partners in most cases, and that arousal and sexual response they exhibit can be interpreted as consent. “We see animals as partners and not solely as vessels for gratification.” “In most cases?? I’ve said before, dogs might hump your leg but it doesn’t mean they want sex with a human, it’s just an instinct with them, they don’t get their penis out…I have female dogs that like to hump their cushions; but doing so, is not them consenting to, or wanting to be a willing partner in any sexual relation with a human!”

“The female anatomy & sexual organs of any species are built only for the opposite of that species, in terms of size & length!. I have seen horrifying images of female dogs that have been raped by human beings, they have literally been torn apart, from the outside in, with massive internal damage! I love all my animals with a great passion, probably more than I do humans; but when one of my dogs roll’s over for a tummy tickle, it doesn’t mean it’s consenting or wanting me to do anything other than tickle it’s tummy.

“Now, I feel I must mention this, in case you see anyone doing it & get the wrong end of the stick…don’t be shocked, but yes, I have touched the sheath & penis of all the male horses I have owned, & a few of my friends (only because they were scared of being kicked)…but certainly NOT in any way sexual!! All male horses need their sheaths & penis’ cleaned several times a year.  An accumulation of dirt and excretions called smegma builds up in the area, and must be removed. Mares experience the same affliction between their udders”.

“Now you may see a male horse rubbing his backside against a post or wall etc. this is not an invitation to get sexual with him; it’s probably because his sheath needs cleaning or he has worms etc.  It’s not a nice job, but it has to be done; I have been kicked so many times I have lost count! There is a pouch in the end of the penis that sometimes causes serious trouble because people simply do not know about it. It needs to be cleared out each time the sheath and penis are washed. Usually the pouch will have one or more small lumps of smegma in it. They are frequently shaped like a bean, so around here we call them peanuts, there about the same size, but I’ve seen some as large as walnuts.”

“Some horses will tolerate you washing the sheath & penis but they don’t all drop, which means you need to get your fingers in their & wash all the debris out, best done with a hose pipe & warm water. Other horses do not like their manhood being handled, so some need to be tranquillized, the obvious added bonus is that the penis usually drops, which is better for cleaning! So PLEASE…do not go running to the police if you see this being done, unless it’s someone you are sure isn’t doing it to keep the horse sheath area clean!”

“A horse that has been cleaned regularly will stand quiet & usually drop! Nowhaving thought about this, it could be that some zoophiles get the wrong impression?? Are some horses tranquillized on purpose so they will drop; for the taking of bestiality pictures, or videos etc.?? It wouldn’t surprise me if they do, which is blatant sexual abuse!”

 Kiok, a zoophile, says the group will sue the German government if the law is enacted. He also argues that as long as other practices that inflict pain on beasts, such as castration of cattle and branding of horses, are legal, then sex with animals should not be forbidden. “Why is he comparing other practices of pain like castration to that of bestiality, it sounds like he is saying well if they can hurt animals for food, then we can hurt them for sex! I’m not sure if I’ve got my point across but I hope you understand what I mean!“

He also points to the collection of animal sperm for artificial insemination in the agricultural industry as a comparable act, which he says is not addressed in the German draft law. “People have tried to create the false impression that we hurt animals,” he told Der Spiegel, explaining that animals are easier to understand than women.  “We don’t force them to do anything they don’t want to do.” “But they don’t have a voice! They can’t say… ‘No, I don’t want to, now piss off & leave me alone’… can they?

Child Porn Charges Dismissed, Bestiality Charge Added In N.S. Case

” Regards only this subject:The news that Germany is set to tighten its laws against bestiality in a bid to improve animal welfare; has been very welcomed indeed. Now we need other states to follow suit, so perverted hands will never touch an animal again; so please, keep signing the petitions & spreading the news. 

 I take no pleasure whatsoever in posting these sickening news items…however, I feel people have a right to know! Also, I/we can get over the initial shock, but the victims i.e. children & animals have to live with their memories, forever!! Also why shouldn’t these people be named & shamed?  Child pornography charges against a Nova Scotia photographer has been dismissed because police took too long to examine his computer.

However, New Glasgow resident Earle MacDonald is now accused of a different sex crime.

Police seized MacDonald’s photography equipment and computers in Feb. 2011.

He was charged with possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography four months later.

The computers were sent to a police lab for a full analysis, but it took 15 months before the forensic report was ready.

The courts say that is simply too long and today Nova Scotia’s Internet Prosecution team dismissed the charges due to unreasonable delay.

“But really this was a matter of, not if this could happen, but when this was going to happen,” says Crown attorney Craig Botterill.

“This is just the symptom of the growing pains in this particular field of law enforcement. The proliferation of Internet crimes against children is something we’re all struggling with keeping up with.”

Botterill says police resources have increased since the charges were laid and this kind of decision should not happen again.

MacDonald offered little comment as he left the Pictou courtroom Thursday, but his lawyer says the judge’s message to the police lab is clear.

“When computers are sent to them for analysis, they must deal with it,” says Rob Sutherland.

MacDonald was issued a stay of proceedings on the child pornography charges just before the hearing Thursday morning.

However, he was also charged with an additional offence – one count of bestiality.

“The language of the charge itself alleges that this was sex between the accused and a dog,” says Botterill.

MacDonald is due back in court Dec. 17 to answer to the bestiality charge.

Latimer Man Already Facing Bestiality & Child Sexual Abuse; Now Faces More Charges

“Yet another sick perverted POS that has forced himself onto animals as well as children. Most of the cases I have covered about bestiality involved some form of child sexual abuse. Which begs the question, WHEN will people realise Animal Abuse Register’s need to be mandatory in every state, town, City, Country! Why, it’s obvious why, animal abusers will move onto children, & child molesters have normally dabbled in bestiality or sodomy whatever you want to call it.

“Find a name on one register & I’ll bet that name pops up on the other! We have to protect children & animals from these dangerous psychopaths; isn’t it better to find the sexual animal abuser before they move onto children??”

LATIMER — A Latimer man who already faces charges of bestiality and three counts of second degree sexual abuse with a child under the age of 12, now faces more charges.

David Allen Baugh, 34, of Latimer, has been charged with three additional counts of second–degree sexual abuse; two counts of lascivious acts with a child and three counts of disseminating or exhibiting obscene materials to a minor.

The second round of charges stem from an alleged offence that occurred on Jan. 1, 2012.

Baugh pleaded not guilty Oct. 4; however, a plea change hearing will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, in Franklin County District Court.

09/15/2012 – A 34-year-old Latimer man is facing 12 charges as the result of an investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Six of the 12 charges against David Allen Baugh are second degree sexual abuse.

The other charges involve two counts of lascivious acts with a child, three counts of dissemination/exhibiting obscene material to a minor and one count of bestiality. Baugh was arrested earlier this month after the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants at two locations. This case remains under investigation. Baugh has a preliminary hearing set for Monday (Sept. 17th) at 3:30pm in Franklin County District Court with his arraignment set for October 4th.

“Now this was before the other charges had been brought in, so if he could of got 170 years…what will he get now?…although I think it’s ridiculous when the length of the sentence is way above & beyond anyone’s natural life span…so why don’t they just say life with no chance of parole…even better…Life serving 30 years on Death Row then at 30 years he meets old sparky??”

If convicted on all the charges Baugh could be sentenced to at least 170-years in prison.
