“People who can do this sort of thing to an animal, are clearly born without the part of the brain that makes the majority of us appalled at such horrific sites. I do hope they found whoever did this, fast. If you think you know who the dog belongs to, please contact the information below the picture, thank you!”
Metter Animal Shelter is looking for tips of the person or persons responsible for wrapping duct tape around this dog’s head.
The dog was found on the Stillmore Hwy. Monday morning. Metter Fire and Rescue assisted with removing the chain and duct tape.
Contact ACO Tommy Condrey at 912-685-7877 or send us a message at the shelter.
“OMG…what a POS…this video is very upsetting, I’m crying as I write this! Not just because I own a Chihuahua, they are such tiny innocent little angels; but because I can’t believe he did this & just drove off. This MF has to go to jail for this, he intended to hit that dog & he did, swerving to do so! I wish I could tell him personally what I think of him; he doesn’t deserve to have a life any more, so he should go take a long walk off a short pier & do us all a favour. Evil sick bxxxxxd, it takes a certain type of person to be that cruel, or rather a psycho; he is also in the porn business & obviously loves himself judging by the picture below! PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION BELOW!
I have added the first picture so people don’t see the upsetting images below. Please note, there is another news link after this one, about the same incident which gives a little more information, so there are very upsetting images below as well as the video!
EVIL SICK PSYCHO, luvs himself….arrogant POS I would love to wipe that smile off his face!!
Michael David Parker, 45, was arrested Friday on suspicion of animal cruelty after little Cow Cow was found lifeless in a back alley in Hawthorne. Police released a disturbing surveillance video that they say shows Parker driving his sedan straight over the helpless pooch, and then zooming away.
Viewer Discretion Strongly Advised
A southern California man intentionally mowed down his pint-sized pet Chihuahua using his Nissan Maxima — and the heartless act was caught by two surveillance cameras, police said Monday.
Michael David Parker, 45, was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony animal cruelty after the precious pooch, named Cow Cow, was found lifeless in a back alley in Hawthorne, Calif.
Michael David Parker, 45, of Hawthorne, Calif., was arrested Friday on suspicion of animal cruelty after his pet Chihuahua, Cow Cow, was found dead in a back alley.
In the disturbing surveillance video released by police, Parker is seen driving his four-door sedan into the alley on Dec. 28, getting out of his vehicle, opening and closing the trunk and then climbing back into the car.
Seconds later, Cow Cow scurries out from behind the vehicle and darts in front of it.
Parker then backs up and points the car straight at the helpless hound. He guns the engine and zooms over the dog without stopping.
Video showing the back of the car shows 5-year-old Cow Cow writhing on the road until he turns motionless.
Police say Parker (pictured) admits he was in the alley that afternoon but claims he didn’t mean to harm Cow Cow.
‘It’s shocking,’ Hawthorne Police Lt. Scott Swain told the Daily News. ‘You never expect to see a little animal like that run over and left there to die.’
“It’s shocking. You never expect to see a little animal like that run over and left there to die without the driver even looking back,” Hawthorne Police Lt. Scott Swain told the Daily News.
EVIL Michael David Parker
“It wasn’t an accident. He purposefully did it.”
Lt. Swain said Parker admits he was in the alley that afternoon but claims he didn’t mean to harm the defenceless dog.
The dog had been staying with a neutral third-party after Parker and his wife recently split up, he said.
“There’s not indication it was tied to a domestic dispute,” Lt. Swain said Monday.
“We spoke to the wife, and she didn’t know it had happened. She didn’t give any indication it might have been payback.”
Parker posted $20,000 bail and was ordered back to court for arraignment on March 25.

In a disturbing crime caught entirely on video, a 45-year-old man purposely drove over his pet Chihuahua, speeding away as the bloodied dog convulsed and died in a Hawthorne alley, police said Monday.
SICK POS!!!!
Michael David Parker, 45, of Hawthorne was arrested Friday on suspicion of animal cruelty. He was released from jail after posting $20,000 bail, Hawthorne police Lt. Scott Swain said.
“It’s a little poor defenceless dog and the guy just runs right over it and leaves and doesn’t offer any help,” Swain said.
Parker admitted to police that he’s in the video, but told detectives it was an accident. The shocking video, however, seems to suggest otherwise.
“You can see him swerving toward the dog,” Swain said.
Parker, the facilities manager at the Hustler Casino in Gardena, did not return a message left at his office. A friend of Parker’s estranged wife, Olga Parker, told the Daily Breeze that the killing stemmed from a bitter divorce. The couple’s two dogs, Cow Cow and Lucky, lived at the couple’s otherwise vacant house on First Street in San Pedro. Olga Parker stopped by every day to feed them. Now that Cow Cow has been found dead, Olga Parker is concerned about Lucky, who is missing.
“She is so distraught right now,” the friend said. “He knew that Olga loved these dogs desperately.”
Police and animal control officers began an investigation Thursday when a resident reported the dead animal in an alley off El Segundo Boulevard and Doty Avenue. The dog had been dead for several days, so someone had placed it in a plastic bag, Swain said.
The resident went to police after reviewing surveillance video focused on the alley. The video shows a man pulling into the alley on Dec. 28 and, after a couple of minutes, running over the dog, Swain said.
“The resident was shocked,” Swain said. “I went over there with a detective Friday morning. I watched it and you are horrified.”
The video shows the man get out of his car and open the trunk. He then gets back into his car. The male dog, 5-1/2-year-old Cow Cow, which had presumably been in the trunk, runs forward and stops in the center of the alley.
“Parker backs his vehicle up, and then appears to accelerate rapidly, steering directly toward the dog,” Swain said. “Cow Cow is run completely over.”
A second video shot from the rear of the car shows the dog writhing on the ground until it dies.
“It’s gruesome,” Swain said. “It starts bleeding, his little back leg twitching.”
Police said the motive for the crime was unknown, even though Parkerand his wife are estranged.
“There’s no indication that’s it, ‘I’m angry at you. That’s why I’m doing that,’ ” Swain said. “It is both of their dogs. So we don’t have a motive. He was arrested and he didn’t want to go into details. He didn’t indicate why he did it.”
But Parker’s estranged wife’s friend, who asked to remain anonymous for his own protection, said Parker became irate Dec. 28 when she refused to sign their San Pedro house over to him.
“He made threats against her and her family,” the friend said. “He said, ‘You are going to sign these documents or else.’ ”
Olga Parker filed for divorce in the summer of 2011 following 16 years of marriage. The couple have three children — two boys ages 15 and 12, and a 6-year-old daughter. Parker has since had a child with a new girlfriend.
The divorce settlement has slowly been making its way through family court. The friend said cutbacks in the Superior Court system in Los Angeles County have slowed the process.
Parkerand his estranged wife both moved out of their San Pedro residence, but Parker wants to take control of it, the wife’s friend said.
“This guy is just a piece of work,” the friend said. “He believes he is above the law because of his position with Larry Flynt.”
Flynt, a famous publisher of pornographic magazines, owns the Hustler Casino where Parker works.
The friend described the missing dog, Lucky, as a black mutt, with a white underside.
Olga Parker has told her children that the dogs are gone and that one was killed. One child told his mother he did not believe his father would do such a thing, the friend said.
Parker is scheduled for arraignment March 25 at the Airport courthouse in Del Aire.
“This has gone too far,” the friend said. “If this guy doesn’t go to jail for this, there is no justice.”
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Francis has passed away. He left peacefully during surgery, and we are thankful that he did not die on the cold street. If only for a short time, he knew what it meant to be loved and cared for. From the bottom of our hearts, we are forever grateful for your support of Francis and all of the others we have yet to rescue as we trudge along through this frigid weather. Francis’ rescue story is below…
December 10, Life for a dog dubbed “Francis,” has been hard. When the biting, bitter cold hit St. Louis, Mo., what was formerly difficult became nearly life-ending.
Rescuers withStray Rescue of St. Louis came upon Francis on Tuesday; the beleaguered senior dog was clearly in distress and in need of immediate help.
Francis’ skeletal body was gently lifted from the frozen ground and he was carried to a vehicle which would transport him to an emergency veterinary team.
As the temperatures dip below freezing, our worries rise. During this extreme weather, the deck is stacked against even the healthiest of street dogs. Sadly, there are also other, more susceptible four-legged friends out there – senior dogs and puppies who really struggle to survive in the elements. As soon as Randy and Donna knew he was in the best hands possible, they were out the door and back in the rescue Jeep again.
The elderly shepherd, who is estimated to be 10 years of age, was placed on I.V. fluids, provided with oxygen and warmed with heated blankets.
The rescue agency captured video of Francis’ first moments at the veterinary hospital; it is painfully evident that the dog is defeated, exhausted and on the brink of nearly giving up altogether.
Francis is not yet out of the woods, but today, for the first time in far too long, he is warm, safe and receiving the compassion and kindness that he deserves.
Randy and Donna hit the streets like they do every day and, with the temperatures turning bitter cold, their typical sense of urgency was even greater. Responding to another call, they turned down an alley. As they drove, Donna shouted to stop the car. They simultaneously saw the frigid, defeated body of a Shepard Mix, and Randy jumped out of the car – knowing right away that this dog needed to get warm… immediately. Randy named him Franics, as in Franics of Assisi, patron saint of animals. This sweet old dog needs all the help he can get.
Rushing back to the Stray Rescue Trauma Centre, Randy called ahead to alert the vet staff about what he was bringing back.Watch the video below to see an intimate look at Francis arriving at the shelter and our amazing vet team jumping into action.
Please keep thinking positive thoughts for Francis, and we will post updates as they become available. You can make a difference right now by contributing to his medical care, and the medical care of future rescues as we fight to save as many as possible this winter. During this critical time, the need is greater than ever.
Thankfully, because of the generosity of the Stray Rescue family, hope is never far away during this season of giving. Please click the link below to donate to The Stracks Fund, our emergency medical fund.
Puppy Tortured to Death Finally Gets Justice She Deserves
Radoslaw Czerkawski. He is charged with 12 counts of animal abuse, remains behind bars on $500,000 bond, and faces 55 years in prison. Czerkawski had gotten Doe for $40 onCraiglist.
Never, EVER give away an animal for free! And if you’re going to sell it or ask for a donation, thoroughly investigate who you are giving an animal to. Check vet references and visit their home. (Czerkawski lied and said he had a farm in Connecticut. Asking to visit the farm that he did not have would have immediately kept the puppy out of his hands.)Czerkawski is also accused of stealing checks from a church and misleading police.
Police are confident Czerkawski is their man — they say they found Puppy Doe’s blood on his apartment floor. Disgusting! This “man” deserves everything he gets and more. It’s about time that animal killers and abusers get hard time for their crimes. If Czerkawski gets the max, he won’t be out until he’s almost 90 — if he makes it out at all.Through it all, vets say that Puppy Doe, despite what she’d been through, was loving and friendly to all. Can you imagine? Animals are certainly better than humans in a lot of ways, and anyone who takes advantage of that doesn’t deserve freedom.
“WTF…what sort of Evil walk amongst us? It could be a next door neighbour, these people don’t advertise their perverse activities! This may be the first, or one of many cases that this sick pathological psychopath may have carried out! Who knows how many more may have been grotesquely tortured & just not found! Sick bastards like this, soon tire of torturing the same living being. God forbid this person hasn’t played out these perverse actions on a child yet!!It may or may not be the first attack, but I doubt it will be the last! I know many people don’t want to get involved etc. but there is such a thing as anonymity…so come on guy’s; these animals rely on the kindness & voices of others to save them!!”
Internet usershave united to get justice for a dog so brutally tortured that she had to be euthanized.
Puppy Doe, a pit bull that faced horrifically brutal torture, had to be euthanized because of her injuries. Police are now searching for her abuser. | Animal Rescue League of Boston
On Aug. 31, a female pit bull was foundon Carrolls Lane in Quincy, Mass., near a playground, according to Boston’s Animal Rescue League, orARL. The dog, who was likely 1 to 2 years old, weighed half what she should have. She had suffered starvation and abuse “sadistic” in nature, including stabbings to the eye and a sliced tongue. Her injuries were so severe that she had to be euthanized.
Veterinarians working on the animal, named Puppy Doe, were sickened by her state.
“They’re a freak, a total freak,” Dr. Martha Smith-Blackmore, who performed the autopsy on the tortured pup, told Boston’s WBZ of the alleged abuser. “Splitting her tongue, burning her nose, stabbing her eye, it’s the totality of the types of injuries. Not only was she beaten, she was stabbed [and] she was burned. It’s all kinds of injures. It’s a sick mind that can do this to an animal.”
The Quincy Police Department and animal rescue groups are asking for help. The ARL is offering a $5,000 rewardfor information leading to the prosecution of the perpetrator. Animal groups Misty’s Journey and Second Chance Rescue NYC have already raised more than $11,000 on YouCaring.com toward a reward for information provided.
A Facebook group titled“Justice for Puppy Doe” already has more than 25,000 likes and has attracted support from as far away as Brazil.
“We need anyone who knows who owned and abused this dog to contact authorities,” District Attorney Morrissey said, via the ARL. “The injuries cataloged in the post-mortem examination are grotesque and indicate consistent starvation and abuse over an extended period of time. It is highly unlikely that this level of sadistic cruelty could be shown to one animal and not be part of a pattern involving other animals or perhaps vulnerable people. We need to find the person who did this and see what else they are doing.”
Meanwhile, the dog’s alleged original owner, Laura Hankins, has come forward. Hankins told the Boston Herald she and her boyfriend bought the pit bull mix last December for $200 on Craigslist. But her landlord eventually told her the dog had to go. So, she put the dog back on Craigslist.
She gave the animal to a woman from Grafton who “seemed wonderful,” according to the Herald. The new owner sent updates, but those stopped in July.
It’s beyond words that this sweet, innocent dog, that once knew love had to suffer this violent, evil fate, but at the very least, if … “giving away” of pets was banned on Craligslist there would be a small amount of justice in her name.
“WTF…I’m stuck for words; how could anyone torture a young pup by tattooing him? I suppose these gangs are used to violence & murder etc. was the dog destined to be used as another tool of aggression? It obviously wasn’t vicious enough for their gang; bloody knob heads! Thank God he was thrown out like trash, tied to a tree & rescued; he could so easily have been killed & buried. Perhaps one of the gang actually had a heart & couldn’t kill Petey, whatever it was; I’m so pleased he was rescued”!
Petey is a pit bull that has undergone trauma that no puppy should have to endure. Found abandoned and tied to a pole a woman came to his rescue and brought him to ROMP Rescue where they discovered that Petey’s underside was covered with a gang tattoo.
Petey was found about a month ago tied to a pole outside a doughnut shop in Lomita, California. The woman who found him called police for help, but help never came.
So she provided the dog with food and water. When at the end of the day no one had come to help she took him and home and to a veterinarian to be checked out.
“He was crying,” said Randy with ROMP Rescue. “She saw him and she called the police and they said they would call animal control. Neither one ever showed up.”
The woman was unable to keep Petey permanently so she reached out to ROMP Rescue and Randy came to take Petey.
Once back at ROMP he noticed markings on Petey’s belly and thought he might have ringworm. When he shaved Petey’s belly he was shocked by what he found.
A tattoo that lists the name of a “set” of a Los Angeles-area gang covers most of Petey’s underside.
“I’m speechless,” said Randy. “I can’t understand why they would do that. The pain involved is obviously more than any puppy should have to endure.”
ROMP Rescue fears the tattoo isn’t the only pain Petey has endured. Although he is great around people he gets angry and nervous around other dogs. They hope to find him a home in the future, but for now he’s not ready for one.
“His legs just shake,” said Randy. “He’s afraid of the world.”
A fund has been set up for Petey’s training and care. Donations can be made here.
We are happy to tell you that the dog shot with approximately 100 BBs is recovering and has just been adopted into a loving home, and that her attacker has been arrested.
Peter Blanton said when he saw Lady, it was love at first sight. He went to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter in Edgecomb, Maine, looking to adopt a new dog. That’s when he happened upon Lady.
“I was late that day, and I wasn’t supposed to be able to get in [the shelter], but the staff stayed late,” Blanton said. “They showed me this dog, and it was sort of like love at first sight.”
The black Lab was found abandoned and wandering down the side of a road. She was taken to the shelter, where staff members conducted a routine examination.
They were astounded to find her body peppered with the tiny, metal birdshot balls. X-rays showed she had been shot in the face, stomach and back.
Dr. Dean Domeyer of the Boothbay Animal Hospital has been working on Lady, who will soon have some of the Bbs extracted. Not all of them may be removed, as they are made of brass, so they are not likely to pose health risks, and the number of incisions may just end up causing Lady more discomfort. However, testing and further examinations will be done to make sure.“She’s a fantastic dog,” said Dr. Domeyer. “She doesn’t appear to be shaken up by the whole experience of getting on the wrong end of a blast from something.”
What’s more important for Lady is that she is no longer suffering at the hands of her torturer.
“She’s just got a wonderful personality,” Blanton said. “We’re really 100 percent satisfied with her now, so we just hope there are no further complications.”
“She’s a lucky dog. I mean, she doesn’t have any eye damage as the vet said and she doesn’t seem to have any organ damage, so I think she’s going to have a wonderful life. She’s very lucky. I think I’m very lucky. In just one day, she follows me like a shadow. She just wants love, and we love her.”
“Somebody must know who this lucky little chap belonged to, you wouldn’t forget a face as adorable as that in a hurry! I’m just so pleased the little guy is on the mend, he deserves a wonderful loving home after what he has been through! Imagine how sick someone is to want to break a dogs legs…not someone you would want to associate yourselves with; eh?? So if anyone thinks they know where he came from. or has any information, please contact the number at the bottom; before they do more than break legs next time!!”
FORT WAYNE – The tiny black dog with giant brown eyes and crazy hair bounds across the room, a flurry of wagging tail, busy nose and a heart three times the size of his body.
Michelle Davies | The Journal Gazette Sawyer, an 18-month-old mixed-breed dog and suspected victim of animal cruelty, is now healed and ready to be adopted.
What a difference a few months makes.
On Jan. 5, the terrier mix, now called Sawyer, was found by a passer-by in the 700 block of 3rd Street suffering from two broken front legs.
The “good Samaritan” who found the tiny dog withblack hair and gray Einstein eyebrows took him to the NortheastIndianaVeterinaryEmergency Speciality Hospital inFort Wayne, where veterinarians found that the dog’s injuries were not like those that would have been caused by getting hit by a car. Officials at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control opened a cruelty investigation.
In the meantime, there was a scruffy little dog to help and the shelter’s Angel Fund was nearly depleted after paying for the puppy’s surgery.
“So many people donated for his care,” said Peggy Bender, community relations and education specialist at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control. “Without it, he wouldn’t be where he is today. You can’t use tax dollars for this type of situation.”
Officials said about $4,500 was raised in a week.
Friday, officials announced that Sawyer was ready for adoption, and he showed off the healing power of love. He’s spent about 10 weeks in a privatefoster home.
Shelter officials said that despite his ordeal, Sawyer has been nothing but boundless energy and love. Officials estimate he’s about 18 months old.
“Even with both legs in full casts, he would try to hug you,” said AmyJo Sites, Animal Care & Control deputy director. “The injury didn’t slow him down one minute.”
Bender said she worried at first because Sawyer would bounce up and down on his casts until veterinarians assured her the bones had been repaired with plates and pins and the bouncing didn’t hurt him.
The woman who fostered Sawyer since his surgery – officials asked that her name not be used so she can continue fostering high-profile cases when needed – said it will be very difficult to let him go to his “forever home.”
“He is awesome. He’s an amazing dog,” she said. “He never knew he had broken legs.”
Bender said that while high-profile cases such as Sawyer’s get a lot of attention, it also helps remind people there are many, many other animals that need homes and that when they see cruelty or neglect, they need to report it at 427-1244.
“If you see something, pick up the phone,” Bender said. “We do keep it confidential. Just let us know so we can check it out.”
The cruelty case involving Sawyer remains under investigation.
