Puppy Tortured to Death Finally Gets Justice She Deserves
Radoslaw Czerkawski. He is charged with 12 counts of animal abuse, remains behind bars on $500,000 bond, and faces 55 years in prison. Czerkawski had gotten Doe for $40 onCraiglist.
Never, EVER give away an animal for free! And if you’re going to sell it or ask for a donation, thoroughly investigate who you are giving an animal to. Check vet references and visit their home. (Czerkawski lied and said he had a farm in Connecticut. Asking to visit the farm that he did not have would have immediately kept the puppy out of his hands.)Czerkawski is also accused of stealing checks from a church and misleading police.
Police are confident Czerkawski is their man — they say they found Puppy Doe’s blood on his apartment floor. Disgusting! This “man” deserves everything he gets and more. It’s about time that animal killers and abusers get hard time for their crimes. If Czerkawski gets the max, he won’t be out until he’s almost 90 — if he makes it out at all.Through it all, vets say that Puppy Doe, despite what she’d been through, was loving and friendly to all. Can you imagine? Animals are certainly better than humans in a lot of ways, and anyone who takes advantage of that doesn’t deserve freedom.
“WTF…what sort of Evil walk amongst us? It could be a next door neighbour, these people don’t advertise their perverse activities! This may be the first, or one of many cases that this sick pathological psychopath may have carried out! Who knows how many more may have been grotesquely tortured & just not found! Sick bastards like this, soon tire of torturing the same living being. God forbid this person hasn’t played out these perverse actions on a child yet!!It may or may not be the first attack, but I doubt it will be the last! I know many people don’t want to get involved etc. but there is such a thing as anonymity…so come on guy’s; these animals rely on the kindness & voices of others to save them!!”
Internet usershave united to get justice for a dog so brutally tortured that she had to be euthanized.
Puppy Doe, a pit bull that faced horrifically brutal torture, had to be euthanized because of her injuries. Police are now searching for her abuser. | Animal Rescue League of Boston
On Aug. 31, a female pit bull was foundon Carrolls Lane in Quincy, Mass., near a playground, according to Boston’s Animal Rescue League, orARL. The dog, who was likely 1 to 2 years old, weighed half what she should have. She had suffered starvation and abuse “sadistic” in nature, including stabbings to the eye and a sliced tongue. Her injuries were so severe that she had to be euthanized.
Veterinarians working on the animal, named Puppy Doe, were sickened by her state.
“They’re a freak, a total freak,” Dr. Martha Smith-Blackmore, who performed the autopsy on the tortured pup, told Boston’s WBZ of the alleged abuser. “Splitting her tongue, burning her nose, stabbing her eye, it’s the totality of the types of injuries. Not only was she beaten, she was stabbed [and] she was burned. It’s all kinds of injures. It’s a sick mind that can do this to an animal.”
The Quincy Police Department and animal rescue groups are asking for help. The ARL is offering a $5,000 rewardfor information leading to the prosecution of the perpetrator. Animal groups Misty’s Journey and Second Chance Rescue NYC have already raised more than $11,000 on YouCaring.com toward a reward for information provided.
A Facebook group titled“Justice for Puppy Doe” already has more than 25,000 likes and has attracted support from as far away as Brazil.
“We need anyone who knows who owned and abused this dog to contact authorities,” District Attorney Morrissey said, via the ARL. “The injuries cataloged in the post-mortem examination are grotesque and indicate consistent starvation and abuse over an extended period of time. It is highly unlikely that this level of sadistic cruelty could be shown to one animal and not be part of a pattern involving other animals or perhaps vulnerable people. We need to find the person who did this and see what else they are doing.”
Meanwhile, the dog’s alleged original owner, Laura Hankins, has come forward. Hankins told the Boston Herald she and her boyfriend bought the pit bull mix last December for $200 on Craigslist. But her landlord eventually told her the dog had to go. So, she put the dog back on Craigslist.
She gave the animal to a woman from Grafton who “seemed wonderful,” according to the Herald. The new owner sent updates, but those stopped in July.
It’s beyond words that this sweet, innocent dog, that once knew love had to suffer this violent, evil fate, but at the very least, if … “giving away” of pets was banned on Craligslist there would be a small amount of justice in her name.
“WTF…It never ceases to amaze me just how cruel humans can be; it is we humans that are the animals!. Somebody knows who this dog belonged to, they don’t just bloody appear from know where. Please, If anybody knows anything about this case, please do the right thing & inform those below. Please keep this sweet dog in your prayers; so that he may make a full recovery. His leg may have to be removed but lets hope he will come through this & find a forever home!”
A one-year-old pit bull was rescued in Kentucky after having been found tied to a fence with his snout duct-taped shut. A reward is being offered for information on who did this.
Duct-Taped severely wounded, Frodo was found tied to fence
It is believedhe was being used as a baitdog because he is covered in bite marks.
“He clearly, in my opinion, was a bait dog and this is not the first time being thrown into a ring,” said Rebecca Eaves, director of The Arrow Fund. “Basically, a dog got him here, broke his canines and pushed them in.”
The pup, now namedFrodo, is being treated at the Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, where he is being pumped full of antibiotics and painkillers. One of his legs will have to be amputated because of injuries, but staff say he’s lucky to be alive.
“It’s a shame what they do to these animals, and I’m emotional because I’m sick of this,” Eaves said. “This is a sweet, sweet puppy, that was just shown a life of horror.”
Frodo was found on the 2600 block of West Kentucky Street in Louisville. Investigators have no idea who tied him to the fence, and are urging the public to come forward.
“Right now, we want to plead to the community,” said Donald Robinson with Louisville Metro Animal Services. “You can remain anonymous. Please call our tip line, let us know if you’ve seen anything, if you’ve seen this particular animal out in that particular neighbourhood.”
“We want to put this person behind bars,” Eaves stated. “Dog-fightingis rampant here in Louisville and everybody needs to be serious about it. Don’t be afraid. Turn them in.”
“My apologies for the graphic image, but this type of heinous cruelty needs to be seen by the public; so they can see what sort of monsters are out there! If you see any strange or suspicious looking behaviour, between kids or adults, messing around with animals…it could end up in a similar tragedy to this…so please stay vigilant, don’t keep quiet…if it looks & sounds wrong, it probably is wrong!!”
“WTF… seriously, if ANYONE is friends, know’s or lives with the person that did this, then I would be very worried about your own safety too! Just because you’re a friend doesn’t mean this repugnant vermin won’t turn on you!! Only the mind of a demented, deviant psychopath, could purposefully set fire to a tiny kitten. What happens when they have grown tired of inflicting pain on innocent animals, they may turn to children; anyone they can intimidate & manipulate! Could you have that on your conscience, knowing you could have stopped this sadistic bully; by just speaking up now?”
“This horrific attack happened last week, can anyone remember someone coming home; smelling of flammable liquid or who may have had burns or singe marks on their clothing or shoes…Or…perhaps someone has overheard a person boasting or bragging about setting fire to a kitten? Just remember, those who commit crimes of this nature, normally don’t stop, because of a fine or even jail!! they will soon strike again! Somebody knows who did this, please help put an end to this now. If you know anything, that may help catch the monstrosity that did this, please contact the number below!!”
A $5,000 REWARD is being offered to help authorities catch whoever intentionally set fire to a kitten found in Kensington last week.
A woman recovered the 4- to 5-week-old male kitten last Thursday atAllegheny Avenueand F Street. Authorities said the kitten suffered burns over more than one-third of his body, with most of the burns on his head and back.
“This is the latest in a disturbing string of animals apparently being intentionally lit on fire,” Sarah Speed, Pennsylvania state director for the Humane Society, said in a statement. “This depraved act of cruelty will not be tolerated, and we hope this reward will encourage anyone with information to come forward and help bring the perpetrator to justice.”
The kitten is being treated at Crown Veterinary Hospital in Lebanon, N.J., and is expected to recover.

A twenty-one year old namedDavid Senior pleaded guilty to the burglary and attack. In total he will serve 22 months in jail, 16 months for the burglary and another 6 months for drug charges.

On Thursday night, the man believed to be responsible for the starvation and death of a young dog, who was locked in a crate and dumped in Waterloo, Iowa, was arrested.
Ty Alyn Hickman
According to the Quad-City Times, 23-year-old Ty Alyn Hickman was arrested by Jesuppolice, who received numerous tips on the abuse case from the public.
“Without the help of the public, we never would have got this far,”
A substantial reward was offered for information leading to the arrest of the personbehind the despicable crime.
Caleb, described as a Labrador retriever mix, was found back on Feb. 16, locked inside of a feces and urine filled crate. It was evident that the dog has suffered greatly before finally succumbing to starvation.
Hickman is facing up to two years behind bars for the misdemeanor charge of aggravated animal torture.
Ty Hickman, 23 was arrested Thursday in Jesup, Iowa and charged with aggravated misdemeanor animal torture according toKwwl.com. The male dog named Caleb was found dead, locked in a kennel and likely starved to death amid his own feces and urine.
Hickman was booked into the BuchananCounty Jail by the Jesup Police Department. If found guilty Hickman faces up to two years in prison.
When the story of Caleb hit social media, animal lovers and compassionate friends were so disgusted by such an egregious act of apparentanimal cruelty, they joined Agape Fosters and helped to raise $7500 for a reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this reprehensible deed.
Never underestimate what a community can do when motivated. Local police received many leads which helped lead to the arrest of Hickman and the alleged charges against him.
A gruesome discovery of over 50 dead and bloodied Grey Seals at Murray Harbour has sparked international outrage with demands that the perpetrator/s be brought to book.
Please sign the petition below & read the details of the Necropsy; the human animals that did this brutal slaughter, must pay!
A P.E.I. wildlife pathologist says he suspects that people are behind the deaths of more than 50 grey seals that washed up in Murray harbour last weekend.
Fisheries officers have sent samples of the dead animals to a wildlife pathologist at the Atlantic Veterinary College. (Name withheld by request)
Pierre-Yves Daoust, a wildlife pathologist with the University of Prince Edward Island, says students from the school found the seals on the province’s eastern shore Saturday, just a day after seeing them healthy in the same area.
He says he suspects the seals were killed by people as they were found with wounds on their bodies, but he is carrying out necropsies to rule out the possibility of infections or other natural causes of death.
Daoust, who works at UPEI’s Atlantic Veterinary College, says it would be highly unusual to have such a large number of seals die so quickly of natural causes.
He says the results will be passed on to investigators with the Fisheries Department in about a week.
Postmortemresults conducted by wildlife pathologist Dr. Pierre-Yves Daoust confirm that the seals, many of them still nursing and just a few weeks old, were bludgeoned to death by having their skulls smashed in with a blunt object. Several seals managed to survive this savage and unprovoked attack only to suffer further agony by freezing to death.
We are offering a R5 000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator/s.

Police in San Francisco are looking for 35-year-old Laurice Barrett. He is suspected of mugging a woman and throwing her dog into oncoming traffic. A reward of nearly $5,000 has been raised for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Barrett.
Around 5 p.m. on December 28th a woman was getting out of her parked car when an assailant grabbed her and yelled at her to give him her money. Then the woman’s 12-year-old Pekingese mix, Roxy, started to bark at him. That’s when the attacker picked Roxy up held her above his head and threw her into oncoming traffic. He then took off running.
Roxy was rushed to a veterinary hospital where she had to be euthanized. Now police are looking for the man responsible for Roxy’s pain, suffering and death. A surveillance video was released on January 2nd which led to a tip a week later that named Barrettas the assailant.
A warrant is out forBarrett, who is facing felony charges of animal cruelty and robbery. Barretthas been previously arrested by the San Francisco police, though they have not stated for what crimes. The San Francisco Police Department has released Barrett’smug shot to the media.
The woman is glad that someone was able to step forward to give Barrett’sname and is hoping someone will be brave enough to step forward and turn him in. “At the end of the day I am fighting for Roxy,” she said. “I’m her voice, I’m her mom. I want justice.”
Anyone who has information on Barrett and his location is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or end a text message that includes “SFPD” to TIP411.
“WTF…only a cold-hearted non-feeling, inhumane bastard, could do something like this. The dog was alive when it was tied in a bag…& it was found alive…but euthanized due to its poor condition. Whoever owned this dog, knew it would suffer & slowly die; how fxxxxxg cruel is that? Who could do a thing like that?? Somebody must have seen this dog alive & in someone’s back yard at some point, it clearly wasn’t looked after properly while it was alive; it’s coat was very matted which would have been very noticeable! Who know’s what terrible abuse this poor dog suffered whilst alive, before being dumped & left to suffocate to death!! Did this person live near the school? Did they dump the poor dog from a car or on foot?”
“This dog was 10 years old…please think about it…have you noticed the neighbours dog has disappeared? Cocker spaniel’s are easily identified by their long ears, & shaggy coats, often curly hair which covers their whole body. However this owner totally neglected to brush the dogs coat. They are very placid dogs who love attention & love to give it, especially wet kisses…I have never met a Cocker Spaniel that hasn’t wanted lots of cuddles; they are an adorable breed, anyone who has one would agree with me!”
“Look around you, please anyone with any information, even if you think it is not linked; a neighbour may have said their dog died of natural causes or it was taken to vets due to illness…come on guy’s, unless this dog was locked in a basement for 10 years, never to be seen…somebody know’s who it belonged to. Please contact the numbers below. This person needs to be found & convicted; before they go buy another dog, which they will soon neglect!!”
A 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel was found in a trash bin at Mount Miguel High School. The animal’s condition was so severe, it had to be euthanized that same day.
The County of San Diego Department of Animal Services is looking for any witnesses or information regarding a severely neglected dog that was found in a large trash bin Saturday, Jan. 5 at Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley.
Found alive in trash bin
The dog, a tan-coloured, 10-year-old neutered male cocker spaniel, was wrapped in a blanket and placed in a black plastic trash bag, which was tied shut and put in the school trash bin.
When found, the dog’s coat was so severely matted that it is likely the dog could not walk. The animal’s condition was so severe; he had to be euthanized at the Department’s animal care center in Bonita that same day. No medical intervention would have reversed the condition of the dog.
“Whoever did this horrific act needs to be found and held accountable,” said Animal Services Director Dawn Danielson.
If you saw anyone near the school dumpsters on Friday, Jan. 4 or Saturday, Jan. 5 dumping a large black plastic bag or have any information about this case, contact Deputy Director Dan DeSousa at (619)767-2624 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
A $1,000 reward is being offered by San Diego Animal Advocates for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this dog’s suffering. If a suspect is identified, he or she could face felony animal abuse charges, punishable by imprisonment in state prison and a $20,000 fine.
“I know what I would like to do to the f-ing bastards that set the dog alight…the most horrifying fact is; it could well have been children! It has & will continue to happen until changes are made & animal abuse is seen as a serious crime; which merits serious punishment!!”
“I know for a fact there are people or kids out there, that know who did this; along with the thousands of others keeping schtum about similar animal abuse cases. Children are only interested in the here & now…they either don’t want to, or are bullied into not wanting to grass their mates up! They have no idea, nor can they relate to the repercussion, that first “act of animal abuse” can lead to.”
” I think kids should be taught about the “The link between animal abuse & serial killers etc” within the school environment. When problems escalate from children abusing animals etc.; then it’s children that need to know why animal abuse, of any kind is wrong & what the ramifications of committing such a crime…can lead to!”
A South Koreananimal rights group offered a $2,800 dollar reward to catch those responsible for setting a dog on fire in an incident that triggered a public outcry.
CCTV footage of the dog running through a car park while engulfed in flames was shown on national TV news channels and prompted angry discussions on social network sites.
The dog ran into a garage and triggered a fire which gutted the structure in Yongin, a city south of Seoul, on Sunday.
The group Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth offered a three million won ($2,813) reward for information leading to the arrest of those behind the incident.
“Whatever they tried to do, whether to kill, eat or abuse the dog, this cannot be tolerated for any reason,” the group said.
Dog meat is a traditional delicacy in South Korea, but growing numbers of Koreansoppose the practice and consider it an international embarrassment.
The video contains very graphic content, viewer discretion is strongly advised.

‘Happened …’ Burned to the car repair shop caught fire jumped
Published on 22 Jan 2013
Auto body shop a few days ago (20 days) in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, a fire did occur. Somehow the cause of the fire was this dog. JTBC affiliate reporter Kim, Youn – Tae Central Daily reported.
“There is a petitions on Causes.com for people to join & sign, regards this dog & other dogs that are treated in such heinous crimes…this has to stop!…Please sign & join the cause below”
PETITION: South Korea! Stop Burning Dogs Alive!
Some of the text from the Cause:-
However, this is not an isolated case in South Korea. Dogs are burned alive in South Korea everyday.
“Dogs are killed with high-voltage electrocution, which takes anywhere from thirty seconds to three minutes, hanged, and even beaten to death at the request of customers who believe the meat more tender and tastier the greater the suffering (one of the most pernicious of myths), and that the so-called medicinal properties are enhanced.
They are most often killed within sight of their cage mates. They are then thrown into a tub of boiling water, often still alive, and then into a rotating drum for the removal of their fur, and finally blow torched. At Moran Market, South Korea’s largest open air-market for dog meat, dog carcasses are on display next to the cages of live dogs.
Cats are often bludgeoned and thrown into boiling water while still alive.” Frightening and horrific cruelty to man’s best friends is endemic and systematic in South Korean society.
These unprecedented cruelty towards animals can no longer be tolerated and it is our moral duty to urge South Korean government to respect and enforce not just its own but the Global Animal Protection Laws.
Each year 2 million dogs and thousands of cats are brutally killed and eaten. These helpless animals are forced to endure unspeakable suffering, deprivation and torture from birth to death. Abandoned pets end up as meat as well.
We oppose this on ethical, health, environmental and moral grounds. It is unconscionable for the South Korean Government to ignore the huge growing shock and outcry on social media sites all over the world.
OMG…what possess anyone to be so cruel? Driving through so many birds is just bloody senseless. Obviously just done for fun, wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t a bunch of youths showing off to their friends…mind you…people who do things like this probably don’t have many friends because they are psychotic maniac’s!”
LONG BEACH, Wash. — The reward for catching the driver who ripped through a flock of sea birds in Long Beach, killing 92 of them, has been topped up in a big way.
PETA seeks information about driver who killed 92 birds in Long Beach
Dunlins fly over a farm field flooded to provide wetland habitat for migratory shorebirds near La Conner, Wash., in this 2010 file photo. Some 92 were killed by a driver on Long Beach, Wash., Dec. 27. A reward is offered to help catch the person responsible.
Sgt. Dan Chadwick of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is investigating.
“That’s a pretty good reward for any wildlife-related crime,” Chadwick said. “That will definitely get somebody’s attention.”
The money is in addition to the $500 reward already offered by the Wildlife Centre of the North Coast.
The dead sandpiper-type shorebirds called dunlin were found Dec. 27 north of the Cranberry Beach approach on Long Beach.
Two beachcombers out for a mid-day stroll near the Cranberry Beach entrance, walked by a large flock of dunlins. But when the pair returned 20 minutes later, carcasses littered the beach.Wide tire tracks were imprinted on the sand in a clear sign of a bird strike.
The couple alerted authorities and WDFW and the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office responded.
Stephanie Bell, associate director of PETA’s cruelty investigations, said its leadership was horrified.
“The alleged crime was vicious,” she said. “Many of the animals had torn wings and died of their injuries.”
Sharnelle Fee, director of the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, said the trauma the birds suffered is consistent with a collision with a motor vehicle.
“For these little birds, you really have to work hard to kill them,” Fee said. “You have to get up a good head of steam and blast through them. You can’t just mosey through. They run and fly fast.”
Seabirds and shorebirds are protected under Washington state law. It is illegal to harm or kill them.
“This senseless attack on these gentle birds isn’t just vicious and cruel – it’s also against state and federal wildlife protection and anti-cruelty laws,” said PETA Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch. “Long Beach residents have good cause to be concerned: According to law-enforcement agencies and leading mental-health professionals, perpetrators of violent acts against animals are often repeat offenders who pose a serious threat to all animals – including humans.”
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police say a vehicle has to be travelling considerably faster than the posted 25 mph speed limit to hit these types of birds. Dunlins are able to reach speeds of 110 mph.
Intentionally killing even one bird is illegal in Washington.Perpetrators can face up to a year in jail and a $20,000 fine for killing a protected animal. In Oregon, the maximum penalty is a year in jail and a fine of $6,250.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PETA at 757-622-7382 or Sgt. Dan Chadwick of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at 360-581-3337.
