A South Godstone man has appeared in court charged with 12 offences.

Bryan Vincent Thornhill, of Langham Road, is charged with five charges of possessing pornographic images of bestiality with a dog or horse, which was “grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character”.

He is also charged with one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.

He is also charged with six further offences which were engaging in a sexual act, while in the presence of a child under the age of 13, for sexual gratification.

Thornhill, 59, pleaded not guilty to all counts at Guildford Crown Court today (Friday).

He was released on conditional bail, with conditions not to contact directly or indirectly a named child, or to go within 50m of a named school – unless agreed by social services.

He will next appear at the same court on October 21.

Breaking News: DPP Takes Over The Dog Porn Scandal Case

Earlier, it was reported that Christopher Weissenrieder and the group of girls alleged to have been taking part in dog pornography were not going to be charged with bestiality when they were arraigned before a Mombasa Law Court Tuesday morning.

The Mombasa court even released the girls on a KSh100,000 bond each while Chris was released on a Ksh1 million bond and their case set to be heard in July.

However, the Director of Public Prosecution has taken up the case and is said to have added the charge of “Unnatural act with a dog.”

Announcing this new development, blogger/journalist Dennis Itumbi lauded the DPP on the move.

Earlier, there was discomfort among Kenyans who aired their grievances via social media after it became apparent that both Chris and the girls were not going to face bestiality charges.

Physiotherapist Anthony Donoghue Jailed For Keeping Bestiality And Child Abuse Images

A pervert physiotherapist kept films and pictures of him and a woman engaging in sex acts with animals and also downloaded hundreds of child abuse images, a court heard.

The bestiality clips and photos, involving a labrador retriever and horses, dated back several years when such pornography was not illegal.

They were discovered after police raided Anthony Donoghue’s home at Sturmer Court in Kings Hill – along with more than 1,400 child sex abuse images.

Jailing the 54-year-old father for eight months, a judge branded the animal films as “really quite remarkably nasty”.

Judge Charles Macdonald QC added: “They were not criminal when made in 2004 but they are extraordinarily degrading and they were kept for no intelligible reason.”

Donoghue, now of Crawley, West Sussex, admitted six charges of possessing indecent photos of children, two of making them, one of distributing and one of possessing extreme pornography.

Maidstone Crown Court heard how using the name Peter Adams, he in March last year was in contact with a man on a gay website and arranged to meet him and “some other pervy mates”.

 Bridget Todd, prosecuting, said Donoghue sent the other man pictures of adults engaging in sex or “extreme activity”. He also sent one of a child aged five or six who he claimed he knew.

“He felt uncomfortable about what he had been sent and called the police,” said Miss Todd.

Officers went to Donoghue’s home on March 23 last year and arrested him. Computers, a camcorder and video tapes were seized. There were 66 extreme images.

Jan Hayne, defending, said Donoghue had been frank about his offending and sought treatment.

“What was not at the root of his offending was high risk sexual behaviour,” she said. “He would not behave in that manner again. He is essentially a good man.”

Miss Hayne said the majority of the images had been deleted and there were only 64 “live” pictures.

Submitting a suspended sentence could be imposed, she added: “He is an intelligent man. He appears to have lost everything.”

Judge Macdonald said sex acts with horses in a field at night took place as a precursor to sex with his female partner.

“You have lost your job,” he told Donoghue. “There is nothing which will lead me to suspend the sentence.”

Donoghue’s name will appear on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years.

North Carolina Animal Shelter Worker Charged With Molesting Dogs

“There is no wonder this sicko volunteered to work at this shelter; he offered his services freely, so he could satisfy his own personal agenda. To Perverted reprobates like him, working with animals is an easy way to satisfy their pleasure at the demise of others!! Obviously they should not be allowed to work with animals, but how does an employee know, if the person he is about to hire, has a history of animal cruelty or abuse? 

The Sex offender registration is a system in various states designed to allow government authorities to keep track of the residence and activities of sex offenders, including those who have completed their criminal sentences. In some jurisdictions, such as the United States registration is accompanied by notification requirements. The information in the registry is made available to the general public via a website or other means.

In the United Kingdom, the Violent and Sex Offender Register (ViSOR) is a database of records of those required to register with the Police under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, those jailed for more than 12 months for violent offences, and unconvicted people thought to be at risk of offending. The Register can be accessed by the Police, National Probation Service and HM Prison Service personnel. It is managed by the National Policing Improvement Agency of the Home Office.  So why not use a similar setup as the above Register; to keep a record of animal abusers etc.. Animal abuse & cruelty cases are rising at an alarming rate, with many cases being repeat offenders; something has to be done to protect the innocent! We already know from well documented evidence, that some of the most prolific, well-known child rapists & killers started off their life of crime; by hurting animals! Which is why I personally think ‘Animal Abuse Registers’ should be implemented in every County; ASAP!!

On Thursday, Raleigh, N.C., police charged a 21-year-old man, who allegedly sexually molested dogs at a Wake County animal shelter, with four felony counts of crime against nature and three felony counts of disseminating obscenity.

According to Thursday’s WWAY 3 News, tipsters alerted officials to Seadon Collins Etienne Henrich, a volunteer at the Wake County animal shelter, who allegedly engaged in deviant behavior with dogs at the facility.

Henrich is accused of posting photos of these acts of bestiality on the Internet.

According to an arrest warrant, Henrich engaged in the illicit activity at least four times, stating that he:

“willfully and feloniously did commit the abominable and detestable crime against nature with a DOG,”

Henrich is accused of posting several photos of him “engaged in a sex act with a dog,” on a bestiality website.

According to the Winston-Salem Journal, investigators believe that the lewd incidents took place over the course of 18 months. Henrich volunteered at night, during which time he was alone with the dogs.

On Thursday, Henrich was booked into the Wake County jail where he is being held on $70,000 bail.

A Ravenswood man admitted to possessing more than 2,500 videos and images of child pornography—some with children as young as one.

The announcement came Friday afternoon from the Cook County Sheriff’s office.

Seamus Webb, 51, was arrested Thursday and charged with four felonies for disseminating and possessing child pornography. Police said the images included bestiality and bondage of minors.

Cook County Sheriff’s Police Child Exploitation Unit found Webb in his apartment on the 1600 block of West Carmen Ave and arrested him without incident.

The arrest occurred after police received a search warrant based on information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, police said. Officers confiscated several computers and other items.

The charges—all class X felonies—include aggravated child pornography, dissemination; aggravated child pornography possession; child pornography, possession of pictures; child pornography possession of movies.

Bond for Webb was set at $100,000. His next court date is scheduled for April 11.

A MAN who filmed himself having sex with a horse sent his ex-wife a video of the event.

Michael Francis Klan, 36, had intercourse with the beast at Fairney View and recorded the incident.

Klan then sent messages to his ex-wife asking if she would like to watch the footage or view any of his photographs of his encounter. “Perverse pig…what was the reason for committing such a disgusting violation against a sentient being…was this his way of asking her back??”

He then sent through a video of the act – which his ex took to the police. “Good for her”

Ipswich District Court was told Klan’s face was obscured in the video but he admitted to detectives that it was him having sex with the animal.

Crown prosecutor Caroline Marco told the court the offence was “disturbing (and) abhorrent” and was aggravated by Klan filming and distributing the material.

A psychiatrist said Klan clearly needed specialised treatment for his issues.

Judge Sarah Bradley said the offence was disgusting and something that outraged the community. She acknowledged it was committed in the context of a marriage breakdown when a number of issues in Klan’s background came to a head at once. “Disgusted & outraged, yet he only gets a suspended sentence?? People like this are disturbed & need to be constantly monitored so they don’t re-offend!”

She was satisfied two years’ probation would be the most appropriate sentence on the condition Klan attend any counselling, treatment or programs he was ordered to do.

Defence barrister Steve Kissick said Klan had had a difficult life leading up to the incident, which occurred on a date between April 23 and May 12. “We’ve all had difficult parts in our lives, but we don’t go out & rape animals…that can be no excuse!”

Mr Kissick said his client had since started a relationship with another woman.

Mr Kissick said Klan’s new girlfriend was supportive of him. “How can women be supportive of a man that committed rape on an innocent animal? And what of that horse? Who did it belong to, no news of the trauma he caused to the horse!!”

 Child pornography charges against a Nova Scotia photographer has been dismissed because police took too long to examine his computer.

However, New Glasgow resident Earle MacDonald is now accused of a different sex crime.

Police seized MacDonald’s photography equipment and computers in Feb. 2011.

He was charged with possessing, accessing and distributing child pornography four months later.

The computers were sent to a police lab for a full analysis, but it took 15 months before the forensic report was ready.

The courts say that is simply too long and today Nova Scotia’s Internet Prosecution team dismissed the charges due to unreasonable delay.

“But really this was a matter of, not if this could happen, but when this was going to happen,” says Crown attorney Craig Botterill.

“This is just the symptom of the growing pains in this particular field of law enforcement. The proliferation of Internet crimes against children is something we’re all struggling with keeping up with.”

Botterill says police resources have increased since the charges were laid and this kind of decision should not happen again.

MacDonald offered little comment as he left the Pictou courtroom Thursday, but his lawyer says the judge’s message to the police lab is clear.

“When computers are sent to them for analysis, they must deal with it,” says Rob Sutherland.

MacDonald was issued a stay of proceedings on the child pornography charges just before the hearing Thursday morning.

However, he was also charged with an additional offence – one count of bestiality.

“The language of the charge itself alleges that this was sex between the accused and a dog,” says Botterill.

MacDonald is due back in court Dec. 17 to answer to the bestiality charge.

House bill criminalizes unlawful killing of animals

CRUELTY, maltreatment and the killing of animals may soon be declared a criminal act under a proposed law filed at the House of Representatives.

Guimaras Representative JC Rahman Nava authored House Bill 6049, which seeks to amend Republic Act 8585 or the Animal Welfare Act by creating an Animal Welfare Division and Animal Welfare Advisory Committee under the Bureau of Animal Industry of the Department of Agriculture (DA).

“The Animal Welfare enforcement officers shall have the full authority to seize and rescue illegally traded and maltreated animals and to arrest violators of this Act subject to existing laws, rules and regulations on arrest and detention,” he said.

Under the bill, it shall be unlawful to torture an animal, to neglect to provide adequate care, maltreat an animal or subject it to fights not authorized by law, kill an animal or procure them to be killed or use them in research or experiments not authorized by law.

Violators face six months to six years imprisonment or a fine of not less than P5,000 but not more than P50,000.

They shall likewise be prohibited from owning or possessing any animal after serving his or her penalty. If found to own and possess any animal, an additional penalty of six months imprisonment and P100,000 fine shall be imposed.

Nava said the bill prohibits the killing of animals except those suited for human consumption like cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, poultry, rabbits, carabaos, horses, deer and crocodiles.

However, the lawmaker said killing of animals may be allowed only if it is done as part of religious rituals, tribal or ethnic custom of indigenous communities; if the animal is inflicted of incurable communicable disease or if it is necessary to put an end to the misery suffered by the animal

Pervert Dad to be sentenced for sex with kids & family dog

“If there is one thing I can’t abide more than animal abuse, it’s child abuse!. EDMONTON — The Crown is seeking an 18-to-20-year prison term for an Edmonton-area man who repeatedly sexually abused children – including his own son and daughter – over 10 years.

However, his betrayed ex-wife wants a different kind of sentence, saying in her victim impact statement that he robbed the children of “their innocence” and “destroyed” their lives and she hopes he “rots in hell forever.”

The sex offender‘s son also slammed his father in his victim impact statement, calling him a “sick, perverted man” and saying he was “never going to call him dad again.”

The 41-year-old man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victims, has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual interference and inviting sexual touching, as well as charges for child pornography, incest, unlawful confinement, administering a stupefying drug, bestiality and using a whip in a sexual assault.

Crown prosecutor Diane Hollinshead compared the man to a “spider inviting insects to come into his home” while telling court the man had been in a high position of trust over the “vulnerable” victims and had abused that trust.

Hollinshead argued it was aggravating that there were multiple young victims, the sexual abuse went over an extended period and the man had encouraged other adults, including a neighbour, to participate.

“This offender has offended non-stop,” said Hollinshead. “He is about as serious an offender as you can get.”

Defence lawyer Mark Facundo conceded his client had done “terrible things to children,” but argued the sentence proposed by the Crown would be crushing.

He suggested a prison term of between nine and 10 years. “How about life, seeing as he took those kids normal life from them”!

Facundo told court it was mitigating that the man had pleaded guilty and spared his victims from having to testify and said he himself had been abused as a child.

According to agreed facts, the man sexually abused his daughter when she was between six and 16 and his son when he was between 10 and 15. As well, he showed them porn and directed them to have sex with each other.

The other victims were the daughter of a girlfriend, who was abused when she was 10 to 12, and two daughters of a fiancee, one that was 13 and one that was a young adult.

Court heard the man bought the 13 year old two sex outfits and once gave her some sleeping pills mixed in alcohol. As well, there was the use of whips and other sex toys, sexual activity with the family dog and he made her have sex with a male friend of his.

The man made the 20-year-old daughter wear a leather suit and would tell her he was the master and she had to obey him. He also punished her by chaining her to a bed with a dog collar, chains and locks around her neck.

Court heard the man was arrested in May 2010 after police learned of the abuse and thousands of child porn images and videos were found on the man’s computer.

He is slated to be sentenced on June 27.

Lawmakers Consider A Bill That Creates A Registry For Animal Abusers

“The more states that will use it the better. Although, it has to work just like the sex offenders registry does, or there is no point!!”

The State Legislature is considering a bill that would create a registry for those convicted of felony animal abuse which is similar to that of the sex offender registry.

Those found guilty of the felony crime would have to provide their photo and address to the County Sheriff’s Office so that they could notify area businesses and residents door to door.

State Senator Michael Ranzenhofer said approves of the concept of the bill, but he’s feels the door to door notification is old fashioned.

“We have registry for sex offenders in the State of New York and generally that’s a computerized system and that’s the way that notification is provided. You don’t have to go door to door and provide the notification. The registry system that’s outlined in this legislation would require and antiquated door to door notification of somebody who is on the animal abuse registry,” said Ranzenhofer.

Ranzenhofer said animals are very important, but he would rather be more alerted to sex offenders in the area than animal abuse offenders.

The bill is up for a vote in the Senate next.
