  • Police say Sara Zamora mutilated and beat to death chickens while performing sex acts on camera
  • She also karate-chopped and killed rabbits and other animals, cops said
  • The heinous acts were filmed for a fetish video titled ‘SOS Barn’

A Miami woman faces up to 40 years in jail after being charged with an unthinkable crime – killing animals while performing sex acts for fetish videos.

Sara Zamora’

Sara Zamora, 28, decapitated chickens, beat rabbits to death and more for sexual gratification, Miami-Dade Police claimed.

The sickening videos were filmed at the Homestead home of Adam Redford, 54, of Homestead, said cops. He declined comment when reached by MailOnline.

An arrest report cited by the Miami Herald details the horrors carried out by Zamora and others in a video called ‘SOS Barn.’

Zamora and other women were shown in the the video ‘torturing and killing a wide variety of animals, including chickens, rabbits and more for the sexual gratification of its viewers,’ said the report.

The mortifying video is part of a genre of pornography called ‘crush,’ according to the paper.

Zamora is said by police to have been groping a man’s genitals with her left hand while ‘repeatedly cutting a chicken’s neck using hedge clippers with her right’ in one video.

Other videos had her scantily clad while ‘hacking off the head of another screaming bird, or [beating] chickens to death with a wooden stick.’

She is also shown karate-chopping the necks of rabbits while they howled in pain, police said, adding that she admitted to killing them.

’I’m glad I didn’t have breakfast because I would have puked all over the place,’ the woman’s defence attorney told the paper after he viewed portions of the video in court. ‘It was disgusting.’

Redford was already on parole for a similar animal cruelty violation last year, he has yet to be charged in the heinous crimes.

Adam Renford (right), he has yet to be charged but has a prior animal cruelty conviction

The ship captain’s website boasts that he has ‘been a part of many video productions related to South Florida fishing.’

Zamora’s Model mayhem profile, in which she goes by Gloria Shynez, talks up her ‘Middle-Eastern look,’ which she says ‘distinguishes from many models.

‘I am so excited to see what fun, beautiful shots we create together!’

Other Florida listings for a Gloria Shynez appear on Tampa Foot Party, tickle fetish sites and on another site that claims she ‘is a hot model available for nude and fetish custom videos.’

Her rates are flexible and she is ‘extremely easy to work with,’ according to her Model Mayhem profile.

Zamora was was hit with eight felony counts of animal cruelty, each carries a maximum five year prison sentence if convicted.

She was already on parole for a litany of criminal charges including grant theft with a firearm, multiple counts of credit card fraud, holding a fake driver’s license and multiple drug possession counts, records showed.

The repeat offender had been in jail for the past month after violating the terms of her parole by failing a drug test, according to the paper.

She was due to be set free and was arrested only hours before her scheduled release.

According to the NJ.com, Dazile was dog sitting for the the Yorkie named Levi and allegedly placed the dog outside on the neighboring roof through the window of his apartment because the dog was barking. Levi was left in a metal cage with no water.

Dazile has been charged with not providing proper shelter, not providing drinking water, and inflicting unnecessary cruelty resulting in the death of a dog.

Neighbors heard a dog barking, but could not place where the dog was located. Finally according to ABC News, a neighbor spotted the cage on the roof and called authorities. By the time Animal Control arrived, tiny Levi was dead.

“Know what kind of person you leave your dog with and check them out,” stated Barbara Wilcotts of Miami. “I’m a professional dog sitter and sadly I hear about dreaded accidents like this. It should never have happened. This man deserves to be punished. That poor little dog died an excruciatingly painful death. It’s so tragic I could just cry.”

If found guilty of animal cruelty, Dazile could face the maximum of $1,000 in fines and six months in jail.

Dazile is due in court for his first appearance on June 17.

Rest in peace Levi.

VIDEO Viewer Discretion Advised: Horse butchered in Miami-Dade County, remains dumped

Comments Off on VIDEO Viewer Discretion Advised: Horse butchered in Miami-Dade County, remains dumped

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – Animal activists have made a disturbing discovery; the slaughter of two horses whose remains were found dumped in Southwest Miami-Dade, months apart.

Thursday night, investigators from the Animal Recovery Mission found more than 150-pieces of a horse in the area of SW 81st Terrace and 123rd Avenue after being called by a neighbor.

Friday morning, while they were investigating the scene of the slaughtered horse, an employee with the Animal Recovery Mission found the remains of  a second horse in the same area that was dumped there several months ago.  All that was left were the bones.

However, there were serious signs of abuse on the first horse found Thursday night.

This horse was beaten, stabbed to death, butchered alive, it really suffered,” said Richard Couto from the Animal Recovery Mission.

Couto said the remains of the second horse had been there  awhile.

Some person is using this as a dump site for butchered horses,” said Couto. “It was dumped here a while ago and covered in concrete and construction debris, enough to conceal it for the past three or four months.”

Couto said the selling of illegal horse meat is a multi-million dollar industry especially in Florida.

People are eating this for medical purposes thinking it cures cancers, helps the side effects of chemotherapy, helps with blood disorders and males are eating this thinking that it helps with the libido. Unbelievably, it actually is the reverse,” said Couto.

“The drugs administered to these animals toxifies the meat so whoever ate this horse, this horse meat, isn’t probably feeling too good right now.” ” 🙂 good, I hope they have the worst shit’s ever & it makes him ill for rest of his/her life… serves them right…my horses has wormers several times a year, plus booster injections that all horses are supposed to have! On top of that, Bute & injections for any pain or antibiotic etc. for any bodily injury. But on English passports, one for each horse, there is a section you can tick if you don’t want them to end up as food for some rich lazy fat git in Europe!

Couto said they don’t know where the horse came from or if it was stolen but he said he believes it was a cared for pet because it had brand new horse shoes and was under the age two. Each time he finds a slaughtered horse, it’s a tough sight.

It’s awful every time you come to one of these scenes especially when you see signs of serious abuse. When you don’t see a bullet hole in the head of an animal in the head of a horse you know how much he suffered,” explained Couto.

Police are investigating and no arrests have been made.“That’s because they are so bloody sneaky, they have looks out, for when they’re dumping a body or cutting one up…they are rarely caught in the act. Although I have seen Richard in some bizarre disguises…trying to get undercover video to aid arrests

“Having supported ‘ARM’ due to my love of horses; I wanted to show you a video from last year…this is still happening RIGHT NOW…news videos will only show the aftermath, which is bad enough; but I wanted you to see the horses before slaughter (if you can watch the video)!!”

“If I could get my hands on the bastard responsible, well lets just say they would be walking with glass shoved down each finger nail, & forced to walk on their them…because that’s how the poor mare in the video must have felt…poor girl. I also know if Richard could, he would have put the mare out of her misery asap…but he had to abide by the law…not like the MF’s that left these horses hanging around…just waiting for the right moment, when nobody’s around…so they can be slaughtered!!. Jail is too good for these evil abominations!”

“This hurts me more, than seeing a horse that has already died, which is upsetting enough! But being a horse owner for over 40 years, watching them suffer, knowing the serious amount of pain they are in, is just the most horrifying, gut wrenchingly hardest thing for me to watch…so yes my tears are flowing as I write this; even though I have seen it before…it always makes me cry for them & want to go cuddle my horses.”

“I’m also showing it, hoping it will raise awareness to what’s happening right now! If you live in the area & come across a scene similar to what’s in the video…you know to contact police; people don’t just dump their horses, if they can sell them on the black market, for meat & there are plenty of ex race horses & other thoroughbreds, due to over breeding!”

“This barbaric practice will only stop when people keep reporting these hideouts  to ARM or the police.”

“PLEASE, PLEASE USE VIEWER DISCRETION”

(I’ve probably made it sound worse than it is I don’t want people having a go at me!! )

“THERE IS NO BLOOD or GUTS…WHICH OBVIOUSLY UPSET PEOPLE…THIS VIDEO SHOW’S HOW THE HORSES SUFFER, WELL  BEFORE THEY ARE EVEN TOUCHED WITH A KNIFE!”!

Second Dog Dies On United Airlines Flight

Comments Off on Second Dog Dies On United Airlines Flight

For the second time in just a few months a dog has died on a United Airlines flight.

Michael Jarboe was travelling from Miami to San Francisco with his two-year-old Neopolitan Mastiff Bam Bam. Jarboe says Bam Bam was in perfect health before the flight, but when he landed he was informed by United Airlines staff that Bam Bam had passed away during travel.

Jarboe & Bam Bam

United Airlines paid for an autopsy of Bam Bam, which found the cause of death to be a heart attack. The company maintains the death was not transit-related. Jarboe questioned several employees who informed him that Bam Bam was not in an air-conditioned room during the 2 hour layover the flight had in Houston. Jarboe had paid $650 for the transport of Bam Bam, which he had been led to believe included temperature control.

Jarboe saw Bam Bam on the tarmac in Houston.  ”It was right under the wing. We were right there, had a direct shot, he was so hot. His tongue was hanging down.” Jarboe had never seen Bam Bam look that hot.

The airline stated, “Given the size of Bam Bam and the fact that he is a brachycephalic, meaning short nosed breed, we made the decision to bring him to our holding facility for greater comfort during his connection.” They stated their holding facilities are USDA animal-welfare approved. The airline refunded Jarboe the $650 for transporting Bam Bam and offered him additional compensation, but Jarboe refuses to accept the compensation.

Supermodel Maggie Rizer lost her golden retriever Beatrice on a United Airlines flight from New York to San Francisco only 2 months ago. Rizer had her own veterinarian perform an autopsy on Beatrice, revealing the cause of death to be heatstroke. United Airlines stands firm in that case that they kept the dog in a temperature-controlled environment for the entirety of the journey as well.

Richard “Kudo” Couto’s Undercover Slaughter Footage Gets Dissed In Tampa (Graphic Video)

Comments Off on Richard “Kudo” Couto’s Undercover Slaughter Footage Gets Dissed In Tampa (Graphic Video)

Around these parts, everybody’s pretty well acquainted with the tactics of undercover animal activist Richard “Kudo” Couto.

The winner of this week’s Best of Miami award for “Best Citizen“, Couto goes to unlicensed slaughterhouses, secretly films brutal animal killings, and– here in Miami-Dade County, at least — gets press attention and results. His footage resulted in the dismantling of the C-9 Basin, an entire district of illegal slaughter, and in several felony charges against animal abusers.

After receiving a tip from a Tampa-area resident, Couto adopted the identity of Martin Silva, handyman, and infiltrated the illegal slaughterhouse community of that city. But the resulting footage– while pretty stunning to us– hasn’t exactly bowled over cops there.

Couto, along with a USDA investigator, bought horsemeat — an outlawed commodity — from a Citrus Park black marketeer. He also filmed unlicensed butchers bleeding out a pig and a goat in brutal and clearly unregulated fashion.

But the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has taken to Tampa news outlets to diminish Couto’s claims. Spokesperson Larry McKinnon told Fox-13:

We certainly don’t see the epidemic of selling meat for human consumption that he has asserted. We’ve been out on numerous occasions with him and never have been able to successfully buy horsemeat that he’s made the assertion they’re selling.

The problem with that, Couto says, is that he’s never been on a sting with anybody from the Hillsborough Sheriff’s office.

Couto says he’s been told that there will be no animal cruelty charges resulting from his footage, because of the undercover manner in which it was obtained. In an email shared with Riptide, Hillsborough Sheriff’s detective Larry Lingo warns Couto: “When you buy the meat it has to be under law enforcement supervision or you commit the same crime as the person selling it.”

Neither McKinnon or Lingo responded to Riptide’s requests for comment.

But in Couto’s mind, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office is lashing out because his own investigation caught them flat-footed. “The problem is these are good ol’ boys,” says Couto, “and they do not want somebody coming into their county and showing what they’ve been neglecting for the last 40 years. I’m certainly not going to allow a police department to discredit me with lies.”

You can judge for yourself whether Couto’s findings should result in arrests. Here’s a video he put together showing slaughter by unlicensed butchers in the Tampa area. A warning: cops there might not be impressed, but we found it extraordinarily graphic.

“Viewer Discretion Is Advised – Very Graphic & distressing scenes! How no arrest were made for their heinous actions, is beyond me. It’s blatant animal abuse, if it took place in your back garden, you would certainly feel the full force of the law…whats the difference??”

The video is unlisted, which means only those with a link can see it!

Experts caution to wait for forensic evidence in Maple Ridge, B.C., cat killings

Comments Off on Experts caution to wait for forensic evidence in Maple Ridge, B.C., cat killings

VANCOUVER – As concerns rise about a serial cat killer in a Vancouver suburb, Florida’s experience with a string of cat deaths provides a cautionary tale: it can be extremely easy to confuse the actions of a natural predator with those of a human killer.

After 19 cats were killed and mutilated in a wealthy Miami suburb in 2009, police received an anonymous tip and arrested Tyler Weinman, an 18-year-old student.

A few of the dead cats had been found on their owners’ decks and others had been sliced from head to tail — the same conditions that cats in Maple Ridge, B.C., have been found in over the past year.

But at Weinman’s trial, an expert hired by the defence counsel determined that at least eight of the cats had actually been killed by dogs.

The charges were dropped by prosecutors, and Weinman — who had been labelled in the media as a sociopath and budding human serial killer — filed a lawsuit in January 2012 for malicious prosecution against everyone involved in building the case against him.

Forensic test results are still being processed in the Maple Ridge investigation at the Animal Health Centre in Abbotsford, B.C.

The Miami fiasco gives reason for being patient until all the evidence is in, says Melinda Merck, who helped review evidence in that case and is named in the Miami lawsuit.

“I was brought into that case really late,” Merck says. “There was a lot of pressure on the detectives, so the investigation was cut short. They needed to do more investigation before taking further action.”

Merck is a world renowned specialist in animal forensics, and has worked on cases such as the Whistler sled dog killings and the Michael Vick dog-fighting scandal.

She is now helping the SPCA with their investigation in Maple Ridge, where nine mutilated cats have been discovered in the last three weeks alone, making 24 over the past year.

The SPCA believes that many of the cats were sliced in half by a knife or saw and then placed where their owners would find them.

But until investigators receive forensic evidence from a provincial lab examining the bodies, Merck cautions against drawing conclusions.

“When it could be both (human or predator), those are really hard to determine,” says Merck.

Baby gorilla dies at Pittsburgh zoo, cause unclear

Comments Off on Baby gorilla dies at Pittsburgh zoo, cause unclear

PITTSBURGH

A gorilla born in February at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium has died, though zoo officials say it will take several weeks to determine why.

Zoo officials had not named the male gorilla. It had been born Feb. 9 to Moka, a 15-year-old gorilla brought to the Pittsburgh zoo from one in Miami in 2007.

Barbara Baker, the zoo’s president and chief executive officer, says the gorilla appeared lethargic and weak in its mother’s arms on Friday. She says the animal was transferred to the zoo’s new Animal Care Center where he died Saturday.

Zoo officials announced the death Monday.

The gorilla had been the first born at the zoo since 2001.

The gorilla’s 20-year-old father, Mrithi (mm-REE’-thee), was the first gorilla born at the zoo.

Cavalia’s horses take the spotlight in new show Odysseo

Comments Off on Cavalia’s horses take the spotlight in new show Odysseo

Quebec theatre producer Normand Latourelle is back with Odysseo, the newest production of his equestrian and performing arts troupe Cavalia.

The latest large-scale circus extravaganza from the Cirque du Soleil veteran features 60 horses and 20 acrobats performing together under the largest touring tent in the world. It opens in Toronto on Tuesday after a successful run in Miami.

An Odysseo actor appears on horseback. ‘We take the time to train the horse,’ says Cavalia artistic director Normand Latourelle. ‘This is the most beautiful animal on earth.’ (Canadian Press)

Latourelle formed his company after leaving Cirque about a decade ago. “I was very attracted by the aesthetic of the horse,” he told CBC News.

“This is the most beautiful animal on earth.”

While many of today’s circus troupes have stopped incorporating animals — in part due to concerns over how they are treated — Latourelle is proud of his company’s work with its equine stars.

“We take the time to train the horse,” he said. “We don’t hit the horse with the whips. We do use some sticks to give commands for the horse to understand — go backward, go [forward] — but we don’t use spurs… The bits we have are soft bits.”

Cavalia’s care for its horses is noteworthy, as other entertainment productions have drawn criticism for its treatment of animals. A recent, prominent example is the high-profile HBO racetrack drama Luck, which was cancelled early in its run following the deaths of three horses featured on the show.

The dazzling spectacle of Odysseo is thanks to the sheer size of the 27,000 square foot stage, which gives the horses enough space to run, and not because the animals are forced to perform dangerous stunts, Latourelle says. “I said if ever we have to abuse the animal to do a show, I will stop.”

Equestrian journalists who have visited the show seemed impressed by the treatment of the horses. Still, the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) will send an officer to the show to ensure the horses are receiving the proper care.

Animal-rights activist arrested at gunpoint in Key Largo by Miami officer – Florida Keys – MiamiHerald.com

BY KEVIN WADLOW  KWADLOW@KEYNOTER.COM

An off-duty Miami police officer arrested at gunpoint an animal-rights activist outside a marine-mammal rehabilitation site in Key Largo.

Arnold Christopher Lagergren, 41, also of Miami, is charged with four misdemeanor counts of trespass and vandalism for alleged incidents at the Marine Mammal Conservancy. Police reports describe him as affiliated with the international Animal Liberation Front organization, which advocates “direct action” against animal captivity.

The Marine Mammal Conservancy was founded to treat stranded whales and dolphins and prepare them for return to the wild. However, two pilot whales from a Lower Keys stranding in May were turned over to SeaWorld after experts concluded that neither a calf nor a sickly adult could survive if released.

Javier Ortiz, described in a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office report as an off-duty Miami police sergeant, was volunteering Saturday with the conservancy when he blocked Lagergren’s car and pulled a gun on the suspect. Monroe County Court Judge Regan Ptomey set bonds totaling $30,000 on the four charges, according to court records.

“This is a very politically charged situation, obviously,” said Richard Wunsch, Lagergren’s defense attorney.

“It does raise concerns,” Wunsch said. “Anybody would wonder how you get hit with a $30,000 bond on four misdemeanors after being arrested by an armed guy 100 miles from his jurisdiction.”
