B.C. Public Warned Of Release Of Animal Killer – Video Tells Reason Why!

Comments Off on B.C. Public Warned Of Release Of Animal Killer – Video Tells Reason Why!

WTF…suspended sentence?? people like this don’t just suddenly stop fantasising about killing animals & humans.  Are the police going to be watching her every move? How can someone like this be released from jail, yet come with so many warnings to the public etc. I suggest you watch the video below, get to know a little more about this psychopath;you know it’s serious when even her own mother won’t have her living with her!!”

Police in British Columbia have issued a warning to the public about a woman convicted of killing animals but one former Toronto officer says the case reminds him of another disturbing criminal case.

Former Toronto police investigator Ross McLean told CP24 Tuesday that there are similarities between the cases of 23-year-old Kayla Bourque and murder suspect Luka Rocco Magnotta.

Bourque pleaded guilty in 2012 to wilfully killing animals, causing unnecessary pain and suffering to animals and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The charges stem from the deaths of her family’s cat and dog.

Her recent release prompted a warning to the public issued by B.C. Corrections on Monday.

“You’re seeing similarities here between [Magnotta’s and Bourque’s] family background – it being broken, escalation to torturing and hurting animals and then the stated intent and the fantasizing about doing it to humans,” McLean told CP24 on Tuesday.

Magnotta, 30, is accused of first-degree murder in connection with the killing and dismemberment of Montreal university student Jun Lin, who police believe was killed on either May 24 or 25, 2012.

The 33-year-old’s torso was later found in a suitcase outside Magnotta’s apartment building, while his hands and feet were mailed to political offices and schools in Ottawa and B.C. His head was located in a Montreal park.

Magnotta was arrested in Berlin in July following an international manhunt.

Police believe that a video posted on-line shows the dismemberment of Lin.

On-line videos allegedly showing the torture of animals have also been linked to Magnotta.

No charges against Magnotta have been proven in a court of law. He is currently in police custody awaiting trial. “I can’t fxxxxxg believe this, there were videos of him on YouTube killing animals…yet no charges??…they going to let him out too??”

Bourque, a former student at Simon Fraser University, was sentenced to eight months in jail. Police say she will now be living in the Metro Vancouver area, but did not elaborate with specifics.

She will be subject to more than 40 court-ordered restrictions, including bans on using social networking sites, owning weapons, associating with anyone under the age of 18 and a lifetime ban on owning animals.

She will also only be allowed to leave the house between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Bourque is also barred from having intimate relationships without advising the other person of her criminal past and must take part in counselling sessions and psychiatric assessments. “Yea right, so she’s supposed to say “Before I invite you in for a coffee, I have to tell you that I fantasize about killing people”…WTF, how utterly insane, she should be locked up for good!”

“It appears from the orders that the police are really working to see that [Bourque] goes in and gets the counselling she requires,” McLean said. “Now whether she wants to take it, or it works, is another story.”

Following a tip from a concerned friend last year, police conducted a search of Bourque’s residence room, where investigators seized a laptop, storage devices and a binder containing information on serial killers, as well as depictions of sexual homicide and animal torture.

Member of the public are being asked to contact police immediately if they see Bourque violating any of the conditions of her release. “I guess that means they won’t be watching her 24/7 then…un-fxxxxxg-believable!!”

She is described as five-foot-four, 130 pounds with a slender build, brown eyes and black hair.

McLean says he believes cases like Bourque’s will be more and more common.

“ We’ve raised people in a time today where – between the Internet, on-line pornography, the ability to learn about gruesome items – the environment is there right for those people to come out,” he said

The reason why she is a danger:

  • While living in residence last March, she told another student she had disembowelled and dismembered cats in the Prince George area and that she fantasized about getting a gun and shooting a homeless person.
  • She also said she wanted to kill someone in residence and was taking forensic classes because she wanted to “get away” with something in the future.

  • Police also found video clips depicting her killing and hanging the family dog.”She narrated part of the video as she eviscerated the dog,” MacLean said.

  •  Another video depicted Bourque torturing the family’s cat. “It is clear the animals would have suffered significantly prior to their deaths.”
  • On Wednesday afternoon, Bourque sat quietly beside her lawyer as others discussed the stringent requirements needed to keep her from re-offending during a three-year probation period.
  • MacLean said Bourque’s mother does not want her daughter living in the family home. Once released from jail, a Vancouver police high risk offender team will escort her to her new residence

Montreal SPCA Rescues Two Carriage Horses Allegedly Abused By Their Owner

Comments Off on Montreal SPCA Rescues Two Carriage Horses Allegedly Abused By Their Owner

“Sorry, but I don’t agree with having carriage horses in the middle of busy city centres  it’s absolutely ridiculous! Aside from the obvious danger of being hit by a car or spooking & running into a car etc. they have to work dam hard in all weathers. Next time you see one, take a good look at it, does it look happy to you? I doubt it…If they were only used in nature parks & had proper field turn out, with large stables, that wouldn’t be too bad. Plus remember the horse has the bridle & bit in nearly 8 hours a day 6 days a week, imagine how sore his mouth must be; it never gets any rest time from a bit.”

Now if they could say for certain that they receive the 5 F’s I wouldn’t have a problem with them, but as you can see, it’s impossible for carriage horses to get the 5 F’s:-

1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst – by ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health and vigour. A horse can’t eat or drink properly when on a stand waiting for fares, as soon as a fare comes along, his nose bag has to wait.

2. Freedom from Discomfort – by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area. I wouldn’t call standing, walking trotting on concrete roads comfortable, they can’t lay down when they want,  nor would I say they are comfortable having the carriage harness on every day!

3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease – by prevention or rapid diagnosis and treatment. As I said, continual pounding on concrete doesn’t do the hoof’s, legs or pelvis any good, horses are not built to be on road surfaces all week

4. Freedom to Express Normal Behaviour – by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal’s own kind. Unless the horse is going back to a turnout field or paddock, he can’t express normal behaviour, horses love to roll, especially after all their tack is removed, it’s their way of scratching their backs etc. They love to groom each other & enjoy being free to run & play with their buddies. They can sleep standing up, in fact their knee’s lock, to stop them falling down; but it’s not a deep sleep, like they can have in a field, whilst other horses watch over them, ever ready to alert them to any possible danger. In my experience most larger breeds would prefer fields to lay, roll & sleep in, even if they have a large stable. My mare has a very big stable, floor & walls rubber matted too, but she won’t lay down in it, she’s too clumsy at getting down then back up, so she waits until she gets outside; then finds the muckiest spot to roll in…yes, I’m sure she does it on purpose too! lol

5. Freedom from Fear and Distress – by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering. Being surrounded by noisy engines, car horns, wagons etc. is enough to cause a horse distress, even if they have been pulling a carriage for several years, they will still be distressed by a noise they haven’t heard before & can’t see it because the blinkers stop their view!

“As you can see from above, I’m not sure the horses get the 5 F’s, therefore I oppose them.  Horses are flight animals, they should not be nose to exhaust pipe, on busy roads in cities etc. Pounding on concrete or asphalt, all day up to 6 days at a time, doesn’t do the horses feet & joints any good what so ever! See the back left leg of the black horse, the hock looks like an open wound, the right looks like it’s going to go the same way too! It could have happened as it fell, but can’t see that as most go down on front legs first. I suppose they could have been caused by his back legs rubbing against the carriage. I can’t quite figure out what that plastic looking ring is around his left hoof?”

MONTREAL – Two carriage horses, Blackjack and Captain Bob, have been rescued by the Montreal SPCA after the driver apparently abused the animals.

Last Sunday, the SPCA received a call from police requesting assistance with a case of alleged cruelty towards Blackjack, a carriage horse in Griffintown, the district of Montreal where the historic and controversial Horse Palace is located.

The Griffintown Horse Palace is a stable for carriage (or calèche) horses that dates back to around 1860.

The land is owned by former carriage driver Leo Leonard, also known as Clawhammer Jack, but since he retired in 2011, a local foundation has been trying to save the stables from being sold and turned into condos.

According to witnesses, the horse collapsed on the way back to the stables. The driver of the carriage apparently kicked the horse once it was on the ground.

The SPCA arrived on the scene and immediately contacted an equine veterinarian to examine and attend to the horse’s injuries.

“This incident draws attention to the deplorable work and living conditions for carriage horses in the city of Montreal,” said the SPCA in a statement. “Something the general public is not necessarily aware of.”

“These horses are often forced to work nine or more hours per day, seven days a week,” said Alanna Devine, the Director of Animal Advocacy at Montreal’s SPCA.

“They are subject to potential collisions with traffic, loud noises that can cause spooking, extreme temperatures and years of walking on unnaturally hard surfaces which often causes lameness.”

“When they are not working, are tied in stalls where they have no opportunity to move around freely or engage in any other natural behaviours and that most of the horses when they can no longer be used to pull carriages will be sent to auction or to slaughter.

The horse that collapsed on Sunday was given to the Montreal SPCA by its owner, along with Captain Bob, another horse that the owner no longer wished to keep.

The two horses have been moved to a foster home where they will be living a very different sort of life – spending time outdoors, socializing with other horses and receiving the necessary care and attention.

Once the animals have fully recovered, the SPCA will be looking for permanent adoptive homes for both horses.

The organization will also continue investigating what caused the horse to collapse, as well as the allegations of animal cruelty against the carriage driver.

The SPCA hopes that the unfortunate incident may draw attention to the living conditions of carriage horses and say it’s time for Montreal officials – and Montrealers – to take a closer look at the horse-and-carriage industry and at the working and living conditions of these animals.

Police on Luka Magnotta’s Trail For Animal Abuse – Before slaying: landlord

Comments Off on Police on Luka Magnotta’s Trail For Animal Abuse – Before slaying: landlord

“Perhaps if the police had taken note of the thousands of calls, the many emails (including mine), informing them of his sick behaviour with animals…the human tragedy could have been averted.”

MONTREAL – Police were hot on Luka Rocco Magnotta’s trail just weeks before he allegedly killed and dismembered university student Jun Lin, according to a former landlord.

In this photo provided by Montreal Police, Luka Rocco Magnotta is taken by police from a Canadian military plane to a waiting van on Monday, June 18, 2012, in Mirabel, Que.

Canadian law enforcement had tracked the 29-year-old porn actor and stripper to a Montreal apartment building as recently as March, says Magnotta’s former landlord.

He said a police detective phoned asking about Magnotta. But the query came too late — Magnotta had moved out about two weeks earlier.

While they never explained why they were calling, Toronto police have stated that they had already been investigating Magnotta on allegations of animal cruelty for more than a year.

According to the landlord, they nearly found him.

“I think they were on to this guy,” said the superintendent, as he stood in front of the apartment building in the city’s blue-collar Point St. Charles district. He spoke on condition of anonymity.

“To myself, I said, ‘I’m glad he’s out because the cops are looking for him now.’ “

The police phone call came roughly two months before Lin’s death in late May. Magnotta has been charged with first-degree murder in the grisly crime, which has shocked people around the world, and to which he has pleaded not guilty.

His former landlord said he gave up his furnished, second-floor bachelor apartment at the end of February, about two months after moving in. It was an abrupt departure — he only advised the superintendent about a week before he packed up.

Magnotta indicated that he was moving back to Toronto. In fact his next known address, the alleged scene of the killing, was only a few kilometres away in west-end Montreal.

“The police called and I told them he left for Toronto,” said the landlord, who added that the call came from an Ontario police force — he just couldn’t recall which one.

Alleged Cat Killer Turns Alleged Murderer In Canada

Comments Off on Alleged Cat Killer Turns Alleged Murderer In Canada

“I knew it wouldn’t be long before this sicko was back in the news.  Appears he has turned from animals to humans….police should have listened to all the animal advocates that sent his name etc to them, saying he was a killer in the making!!”.

Canadian police are searching for a man in connection with a murder in Montreal. A male human torso was discovered in a suitcase in a pile of garbage at Place Lucy and Décarie in Montreal Tuesday morning. Although authorities have not released the name of the victim, they have released the name of a suspect: 29-year-old Luka Rocco Magnotta.

This sicko enjoyed killing kittens & sending video’s to YouTube

Magnotta is a name well known in the animal rescue community. In 2010, a video surfaced of him on YouTube, torturing and killing two kittens. Photos of Magnotta holding various terrified animals as well as a list of his aliases made the rounds of social media sites, as advocates such as The Barbi Twins, and Rescue Ink searched for leads as to his identity and location.

Magnotta is alleged to have made a number of “crush” films in which he kills defenceless kittens. In four different videos, he is reported to be seen suffocating kittens, defiling dead kittens, feeding a kitten to a python and taping a kitten to a broom handle and drowning it in a bathtub. The Barbi Twins have been tracking his crimes against animals since 2010, but police did not devote any resources to the cases of animal abuse, because they “had bigger crimes to investigate.”

At a certain point the Barbi twins stopped giving Magnotta any press because it was clear he was committing his heinous acts of torture for the attention it brought him.

Every person involved in animal rescue is well aware of the connection between animal abuse and homicide. Magnotta was seen by the animal advocacy community as a killer in the making, but authorities could not be convinced to take his crimes seriously. Now it appears he has made the jump from animals to humans, as many serial killers throughout history have.

This month a new video entitled “1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick” surfaced on the Internet which appears to be an actual snuff video. The killer in the video is believed to be Luka Magnotta, stabbing, beheading, dismembering and sexually abusing the corpse of another man.

It is not known whether the victim in the video is the same man found this week in Montreal.

In addition to his crush videos, Magnotta is known for being a male model, exotic dancer and gay porn star. He was born Eric Clinton Newman in Scarborough Ontario Canada, but legally changed his name.

Some of the body parts turned up today. One part, a foot, was delivered to the Canadian Conservative Party headquarters headed by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, while the second, a hand, was destined for Canadoan Liberal Party offices, but was discovered by Canada Post workers. Police announced today that both packages had originated in Montreal. Police issued a Canada-wide warrant today, and said they couldn’t rule out more body parts may be in the mail.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Luka Magnotta, please contact Montreal Police at: 514 393-1133   Do not approach Magnotta as he is considered dangerous
