A Florida man was convicted of heinous acts against an 8-month-old puppy and sentenced to prison, however, the sentence doesn’t seem nearly long enough for the crimes.

61-year-old James Guy Bullfrom Daytona Beachpleaded guilty to two counts of felony cruelty to animals, misdemeanor animal cruelty charges and misdemeanor sexual activities involving animals, according to USAToday.
Bull was set to go to trial for the charges, but he instead pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison.
State Attorney R.J. Larizza called the facts surrounding the horrific abuse case “incomprehensible and vile” after the sentence was handed down on Friday.
“The defendant’s abuse of the helpless dog shocks the collective conscience of the citizens of the Seventh Circuit and beyond.”
Back in March some of Bull’s neighbors came forward with allegations of seeing him fondling the small pit bull puppy’s private areas on several different occasions despite the dog crying and whimpering for him to stop. One neighbor said that at one point they were walking by Bull’s home and caught him in the act of having sex with the puppy named Coco, according to prosecutor
“When (Bull) saw (him), he pulled up his pants and put the dog down,” court records show.
Police went to Bull’s home to investigate and that’s when they found the “clearly emaciated” dog chained to a post on the front porch with almost no room to move.
“She had about 8 inches of free reign, no water, no shelter and no food for her,” an affidavit said. The dog was “skittish and obviously afraid,” and showed signs of physical sexual abuse.
The good news is that while Bull sits behind bars for the next five years, Coco, who’s now named Rose, has been placed in safe custody with an animal rescue group and should be okay after a while.
I often wonder what kind of twisted person would do such a thing to a helpless dog who, if given the chance, would only want to love him and be his loyal friend. Five years doesn’t seem like nearly enough for such vile acts.

James Guy Bull will spend the next five years of his life in prison for raping an eight-month-old female terrier dog on his front porch reported the Facebook page of Rose’s Road to Recovery Friday afternoon.
A huge crowd gathered outside the Daytona, Florida courtroom; sentencing was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Bull pleaded guilty to felony and misdemeanor charges for sexual acts with an animal and animal cruelty. According to the firstcoastnews.com, State Attorney R.J. Larizza called the heinous acts “incomprehensible and vile.”
“The defendant’s abuse of the helpless dog shocks the collective conscience of the citizens of the Seventh Circuit and beyond,” stated Larizza.
Bull, 61, was arrested in March when neighbors called authorities after hearing Bull’s young dog yelp and cry as if in pain. Witnesses told police they had seen Bull raping the dog, and “he had pulled up his pants and put the dog down” when he knew others had seen his despicable act with the puppy.
When authorities arrived, they found a “clearly emaciated” dog who was “obviously afraid.” The dog, named Rose has since recovered, and has been under the care of the Second Chance Rescue NYC.

GERMANY’S upper house of parliament, the Bundesrat, has voted to criminalise for the first time ”using an animal for personal sexual activities” and to punish offenders with fines of as much as $34,000.
It was the final legislative hurdle for a bill the lower house passed in December.
The vote follows months of debate that pitted so-called zoophiles againstanimal rights and protection advocates. Sexual mores seemed not to play a paramount role.
The ban, which carries only a misdemeanor charge, is an amendment to the country’s animal protection law, which, among other things, regulatesanimal testing and the sale of animals, and prohibitsanimal abuse, including ”using an animal for personal sexual activities or making them available to third parties for sexual activities and thereby forcing them to behave in ways that are inappropriate to their species”.
Zoophilesargue that their relationships with their pets, or ”partners” as they prefer, are entirely mutual. Michael Kiok, a co-director of Zoophilic Engagement for Tolerance and Enlightenment (ZETA), said animals were perfectly capable of expressing whether or not they desired sex. “Since last I looked, my dog couldn’t talk, I’m sure that goes for all animals…so how the hell can they express it, flash their bloody eyelashes?? Without a verbal consent, in a court of law…I believe it is still rape!!
Animal-rights groups have criticised the move. But David Zimmermann, who is also a co-director of ZETA, said: ”It’s a sexual aspect that is entirely foreign to most people. Michael Francis Klan, 36, had intercourse with the beast at Fairney View and recorded the incident.
Klan then sent messages to his ex-wife asking if she would like to watch the footage or view any of his photographs of his encounter. “Perverse pig…what was the reason for committing such a disgusting violation against a sentient being…was this his way of asking her back??”
He then sent through a video of the act – which his ex took to the police. “Good for her”
Ipswich District Court was told Klan’s face was obscured in the video but he admitted to detectives that it was him having sex with the animal.
Crown prosecutor Caroline Marco told the court the offence was “disturbing (and) abhorrent” and was aggravated by Klan filming and distributing the material.
A psychiatrist said Klan clearly needed specialised treatment for his issues.
Judge Sarah Bradley said the offence was disgusting and something that outraged the community. She acknowledged it was committed in the context of a marriage breakdown when a number of issues in Klan’s background came to a head at once. “Disgusted & outraged, yet he only gets a suspended sentence?? People like this are disturbed & need to be constantly monitored so they don’t re-offend!”
She was satisfied two years’ probation would be the most appropriate sentence on the condition Klan attend any counselling, treatment or programs he was ordered to do.
Defence barrister Steve Kissick said Klan had had a difficult life leading up to the incident, which occurred on a date between April 23 and May 12. “We’ve all had difficult parts in our lives, but we don’t go out & rape animals…that can be no excuse!”
Mr Kissick said his client had since started a relationship with another woman.
Mr Kissick said Klan’s new girlfriend was supportive of him. “How can women be supportive of a man that committed rape on an innocent animal? And what of that horse? Who did it belong to, no news of the trauma he caused to the horse!!”

Milwaukee – On Monday, a Mexican national who pleaded guilty to multiple misdemeanour’s for dog napping, cruelty and having sex with an animal was sentenced to serve time in jail. Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Richard J. Sankovitz sentenced Jose L. Mora, 58, to seven months at the Milwaukee County House of Corrections. He is also expected to be deported to Mexico after serving his sentence.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also processed Mora last month for being undocumented and in the country illegally. ICE approved an ordered to deport Mora once he completes his jail term in Milwaukee County.
Last month, Mora originally from the state ofMichoacanpleaded guilty to three misdemeanour’s one count each of sexual gratification with an animal (dog), intentional mistreatment of an animal and disorderly conduct.Under a plea agreement, the court dismissed Mora’s three other charges of dog napping, sexual gratification with an animal and intentional mistreatment of an animal.
On March 9, Mora was taken into custody by Milwaukee police after Maribel Sánchez-Murillo, 29, filed a complaint alleging that she witnessed Mora raping her dog named “Diego” in a family garage at the 1500 block of S. 9th St. A video surveillance camera inside the garage was live stream and transmitted horrid and cruel images to an inside house monitor showing Mora forcing the 1-year old German Shepherd to have sex with him.

The owner of the dog, Angela Rivera, noticed on Friday that the dog was injured and acting abnormally, according to police.
Rivera spoke with the Sanabria-Hernandez on Saturday and he admitted to her that he sexually assaultedthe dog at her home on the 800 block of North Oswego Street, police said.
Police questioned Sanabria-Hernandez, who waived hisright to remain silent and admitted to having sex with the dog in Rivera’s home, according to records.
Sanabria-Hernandez was charged with sexual intercourse with an animal and cruelty to animals. He was released on $5,000 unsecured bail, according to records.

A man found with more than 400 images of child pornography and bestialitywas told his crimes were “a matter of shame”.
Dennis Campbell, of King Street, Aspatria, heard the comments at while being sentenced in Carlisle Crown Court.
He had pleaded guilty to 18 different charges. Three were for possessingextreme pornography, the others for making indecent images of children.
Police inGermany passed details of people using a website containing child pornography, including Campbell, to British officers last year.
Campbell was questioned in June 2011 and three computers in his home were searched.
Officers found a variety of images graded from one to five, with five being the most extreme. Two of these were level five images, 22 at level four, 43 at level three, 40 at level two and 263 at level one.
Police also found 54 images of bestiality whichTim Evans, prosecuting, described as “of the most deeply upsetting kind”.
Mr Evans told the court Campbell claimed to have found the images by accident while browsing mainstream pornography on the internet and looked at the images of bestiality out of curiosity.
“It must have definitely been continuing curiosity to look at 54 of these sorts of images,” he told the court.
Judge Peter Hughes, presiding, said: “It is a matter of shame that, at the age of 60, you should be before the court for such foul offence.” “You don’t get to his age & suddenly start this behaviour. This pervert will have been at it, long before he was caught…I wonder how many poor innocent souls he has had his filthy hands on…be it human or animal!
Campbell, who appeared in court wearing a grey jacket, dark trousers, blue jumper and shirt and tie, was sentenced to a 36-month concurrent community order and ordered to complete a sex offenders treatment plan.“Does this plan contain anything to do with bestiality?

White Man Guilty Of Sex With Miniature Horse And Rape, Gets 3 Years In Jail…Just 3 years….
AL.com reports that Eric Steven Easleywas sentenced to three years in prison, but he’s already spent 14 months in jail, meaning with time served, he’ll be out in 22 months. He was technically sentenced to 15 years, but the deal stipulated that all but three of those be suspended.
The site notes that neither Easley, the prosecuting attorneynor judge Joseph “Rusty” Johnston seemed fully satisfied with the plea deal, which the prosecution claimed it offered because there were “legal issues” surrounding Easley’s rape victim.
Easley was arrested in July 2011 after a woman said he broke into her home, raped her and held her for several hours against her will, according to a previous story by AL.com.
In 2010, deputies in Mobile, Ala. said they found evidence that a miniature horse’s tail had been tied to a post and the horse had been sexually abused, according to the Weekly Vice.
Deputies found a wallet with Easley’s driver’s license and Social Security card at the scene.
Judge Johnston dismissed animal cruelty and domestic violence charges as part of the plea deal, but Easley admitted to the charges of rape and killing or disabling livestock

Not all of my posts will be current news, or even about animal abuse! I do like to share other animal news, uplifting stories or videos; some that are funny or just touch the heart!
If I have anything to say on any post, you will see it in bold blue writing. I try to remain a lady, but it's hard to contain my anger & emotions at the some of the stories I post; I don’t have a heart of stone, tears stain many articles I write!
Lastly, my apologies for any errors; I am learning whilst posting, so if you find anything that doesn't work or a broken link, sorry, I'm only human!!!!

I would just like to make readers aware, that I search for stories on the internet; regards animal abuse etc. I copy stories etc. from the internet; assuming these stories are correct at time of publishing. Having said that, sometimes the press get it wrong! So I just want to add that at the time of me posting a news story, I presume all the facts seem present & correct.
Please note....all people mentioned in this blog, are presumed innocent, until proven otherwise, in a court of law.

For anyone wishing to connect to me via my Facebook page...PLEASE NOTE, ONLY PEOPLE I ADD AS ANIMAL ADVOCATES CAN SEE MY WHOLE PAGE...I do this out of respect for those friends I have who do not wish to see graphic images, videos or links of animal abuse!
As 99% of my page is animal related; anyone not in the above group of friends; will only see a limited amount of posts!!
DUE TO ANIMAL HATERS...I WILL ONLY ADD PEOPLE WHO CAN PROVE WHO THEY ARE via Facebook, Wordpress, Twitter etc. & WHO HAVE A GENUINE INTEREST IN ANIMAL WELFARE... i.e. if your Facebook page has absolutely nothing to do with animals, I see no point in joining my page. My Facebook is solely for animal welfare, I am not interested in playing games etc. I don't mean to sound rude but I am not interested in the amount of friends I have, its the quality of those friends that count.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND REQUESTS FOR YOUR FRIENDS TO JOIN. I do not want anyone to be upset by graphic images etc.
My aim is to educate & raise awareness to the horrors animals face, at the hands of humans, every day, around the world!!
We can not hope to achieve better laws, to protect animals, unless we unite as one, to speak up for those who are voiceless!!
