A Maryland school district worker charged with bestiality involving her pet dog also allegedly had sex with a boy, it was revealed this week.

During a hearing Wednesday, a judge ruled that 46-year-old Stephanie Mikles will stand trial for allegedly having sex with the family pet between August 1 and August 31, 2008. 

Mikles, who had worked for the Hartford County School District, was arrested after a search of her Jarrettsville home has reportedly yielded a CD containing a dozen photos of the woman having intercourse with the pooch.

The search was reportedly prompted by allegations made by a boy who claimed he had sex with Mikles, the Baltimore Sun reported.

According to the unnamed minor, after their encounter, the educator showed him a recording of sexual acts involving her pet dog.

Miss Mikles has yet to be charged in connection to the alleged child sex abuse.

The 46-year-old defendant, who had been employed as a behavioral specialist, working with special education teachers, was placed on unpaid administrative leave. On Wednesday, a district spokesperson said that Mikles no longer works for the school system.   

In the course of the hearing, Mikles‘ attorney, Leslie Gladstone, unsuccessfully argued that the charge of ‘unnatural or perverted practice’ is too vague and was rendered unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Gladstone maintained that the charge in question was designed only to punish people for practices seen as ‘abhorrent morally and religiously.’

‘If my client was charged with cruelty to animals, there may be an issue there,’ he said.

Judge Robert Dugan also dismissed a motion filed by Gladstone to supress the photos seized from Mikles’ home.

Allegations of bestiality against Mikles came to light in 2008 when she was investigated for child pornography and sexual abuse of a minor.

In Maryland there is no statute of limitations for bestiality charges so authorities were able to press charges as soon as they discovered the evidence.

The boy had told child advocates with the Hartford County that he had sex with Mikles and was later shown depictions of her engaging in sexual acts with her dog.

Acting on that information, officers served Mikles with a search warrant and seized a CD from her home, which reportedly contained 12 photos believed to have been taken by a third party of the 46-year-old school employee having sex with an animal.

The defence attorney claimed that officers with the Child Advocacy Centre violated the search warrant’s instructions by failing to inspect the images in a lab.

Mikles is expected to go on trial in August. If convicted of the bestiality charge, she could face up to 10 years in prison and ordered to pay a fine of up to $10,000.

In May, local TV station ABC2 reported that the dog at the center of the bestiality case still lived with Mikles.

Jailed for Bestiality And Child Abuse Photos

A WESTON man has been jailed for possessing more than 11,000 indecent images of children, as well as images of bestiality.

David Page, of Woodpecker Drive, pleaded guilty to 16 charges of making indecent photographs of a child, one of possessing an indecent photograph of a child and two charges of possessing an extreme pornographic image of active intercourse with an animal.

Bristol Crown Court heard on Tuesday the 46-year-old’s computer had been seized when a warrant was obtained in May last year and a number of images and video files were found. The images and movies varied in ratings for the most serious child sex images – with animal abuse being the highest category.

A total of 11,816 images were found on his computer – varying from level one to five, and 122 movie files, varying from level one to four.

Nadeem Aullybocus, mitigating, said Page suffered ‘significant stress’ when he lost his job.

 He said: “He started viewing normal pornography and does not understand how he progressed on to these images. It became a culture of clicking and saving, not viewing it for very long.

“He feels ashamed to meet his family members and he has an elderly mother who relies on him day to day.

“He has also had to deal with personal difficulties; he suffers from some hearing loss and type two diabetes. He also uses a device which helps him breathe at night. He deeply regrets his actions.” “Oh boo hoo, is that supposed to make us feel sorry for him? No excuse in the world for committing child or animal abuse!”

Page was sentenced to 11 months in prison and ordered to sign on to the sexual offenders register for 10 years. He was also given a sexual offences prevention order for 10 years.

Man Booked for Bestiality in Indore

INDORE: A man in Aerodrome area was allegedly caught for beating and indulging in a sexual act with his neighbour’s cow on Friday noon.

The accused, 40-year-old Gulab Singh has been arrested in the case, said Aerodrome police station in charge Akhilesh Divedi. “The accused is a labourer in the area and was taken to the police station by the neighbours,” Divedi told TOI.

Divedi said the incident had taken place around 12pm, when the accused was alone at his residence and found a neighbour’s cow tied nearby. He untied it and took the cow inside his house and tied the legs and snout before sexually assaulting the animal.

After sometime, the owner of cow Bindu Jaiswal along with a few neighbours started searching for the missing cow and found Singh allegedly indulging in objectionable activity with the 3-year-old cow. They immediately raised an alarm and took Singh to the police station and lodged a complaint against him.

Jaiswal said that the cops were initially hesitant to lodge a complaint but under pressure from the crowd, they eventually registered one under section 377 (sexual activity against the order of nature) of IPC.

When asked whether the accused was inebriated, police said that during prima facie the accused looked normal. “He appears to be a sadist and mentally disturbed,” the police said.

Sweden Bans Bestiality

Sweden on Thursday proposed legislation that would completely outlaw bestiality, tightening current rules that only prohibit sex with animals that causes mental or physical harm.

 “The government is now toughening bestiality laws so that there is no doubt that it’s prohibited to abuse animals,” Rural Affairs Minister Eskil Erlandsson said in a statement.

“There should be no doubt whatsoever that bestiality is unacceptable.”

Until now, bestiality was illegal in Sweden only if it could be proven that the animal had been subjected to suffering.

Starting on January 1st, 2014, however, any sexual act with an animal will be punishable by a fine, a maximum prison sentence of two years, or both, even if the animal shows no sign of injury or suffering.

“I hope that this sort of act doesn’t take place in society at all. And now we’re putting that explicitly into law,” Erlandsson told the TT news agency.

In 2008, Erlandsson came in for criticism for using graphic language during a debate on the floor of parliament in an attempt to describe the difficulty of legislating against bestiality.

While he first expressed his “disgust” for anyone who has sex with animals, Erlandsson continued to offer a graphic example to demonstrate that “what counts as sexual abuse of animals” isn’t always easy to define, much to the surprise of fellow MPs.

“It was distasteful. It sunk to a horrendously low level. I don’t think one needs to discuss details like that in the Riksdag,” Social Democrat MP Monica Green told the Aftonbladet newspaper at the time.

“He mixed up people’s sexuality with animals’ sexuality. His example was also appalling.”

While it’s been nearly 18 months since the government first commissioned an inquiry into the bestiality ban, news that the law was finally on its way came as welcome news to Sweden’s veterinarians.

“It’s very good that the law will be changed,” a spokesman for the Swedish Federation of Veterinarians (Sveriges Veterinärförbund), Johan Beck-Friis, told AFP.

“It’s very important that society makes a clear statement that it is unacceptable to use animals that way,” he said.

The ban will bring Sweden in line with a European Union directive.

Germany introduced a ban in December, following in the footsteps of Britain, France, and Switzerland among others.

The Swedish parliament is expected to pass the bill into law soon, as there is broad political consensus on the issue.

According to Beck-Friis, under the current law veterinarians may suspect that an animal has been sexually abused but they are generally unable to prove it.

As a result, there are no statistics available on how common bestiality is in the country.

In 2006, the latest year for which statistics are available, about 100 cases of animals suffering injuries suspected of being related to bestiality were brought to the authorities’ attention, Beck-Friis said.

Breaking News: DPP Takes Over The Dog Porn Scandal Case

Earlier, it was reported that Christopher Weissenrieder and the group of girls alleged to have been taking part in dog pornography were not going to be charged with bestiality when they were arraigned before a Mombasa Law Court Tuesday morning.

The Mombasa court even released the girls on a KSh100,000 bond each while Chris was released on a Ksh1 million bond and their case set to be heard in July.

However, the Director of Public Prosecution has taken up the case and is said to have added the charge of “Unnatural act with a dog.”

Announcing this new development, blogger/journalist Dennis Itumbi lauded the DPP on the move.

Earlier, there was discomfort among Kenyans who aired their grievances via social media after it became apparent that both Chris and the girls were not going to face bestiality charges.

Convicted Sex Offender Sentenced: Up To 15 Years In Prison For BESTIALITY

“At last, a Judge who actually cares enough about animals, to use the powers given to him; to encaserate this sick bxxxxxd!! Lets just hope Judge Timothy Hicks, uses his  influence & balls, to put this depraved repugnant pig, who is a fourth time offender; behind bars for the maximum number of years possible! This is yet another case which points out the obvious…these rancorous reprobates, can’t be cured, don’t want to be cured & will re-offended; given the opportunity…so judges should be making sure these repulsive sickos are not given the convenience to re-offend so easily!! 

Animals do not have a voice, they cannot give consent before a human has sex with them; therefore it is rape! Raping an animal is yet another valid reason, why every state & city should be setting up Animal Abuse Registers! Just as Peodophile Registers are used, police can cross reference names & keep tabs on animal rapists, abusers etc. Animal charities such as the ASPCA, RSPCA etc. can use the Register to check names of job applicants or before adopting out animals. History has proven many times, that some offenders start a life of crime by abusing or raping animals, then turn predator to human victims. So…FFS…what more proof do the powers that be need; before they get Animal Abuse Registers implemented ASAP??

A convicted sex offender from Michigan has been sentenced to one-to-15 years in a state prison for repeatedly having sex with dogs.

Kurtis Peterson learned his fate on Monday when Judge Timothy Hicks went above state sentencing guidelines to keep the repeat offender in a controlled environment to prevent him from re-offending.

Under state guidelines, Peterson would have been sentenced to time in a county jail and probation, but because he had already served 321 days behind bars, Peterson would have been released almost immediately.

Silent victims

The 37-year-old Muskegon man pleaded no contest last March to ‘the abominable and detestable crime against nature,’ also known as sodomy or bestiality, and charged as a fourth-time habitual offender.

Peterson’s attorney, Belinda Barbier, said in court that her client has serious mental health issues that require long-term counseling, and the judge agreed that the defendant has ‘pretty low cognitive ability.’  

However, experts at the Michigan Center for Forensic Psychiatry earlier examined Peterson and determined that he was sane while sexually abusing the animals, and he was competent to stand trial.

The first incident involving Peterson took place April 2010 at his apartment at 230 Amity Avenue in Muskegon when he was caught kneeling naked behind his blue heeler on his bed, having sex with the pet, according to testimony by an eyewitness cited by MLive.com. 

In early June, the same witness said she walked in on a naked Peterson apparently having sex with a white pit bull on the floor of his living room. The 37-year-old man was arrested a short time after the second incident.

Silent victims

Testifying at a preliminary hearing about the April incident, the witness, Joyce Yeaw, said Peterson told her he was ‘just hugging his dog,‘ but the woman said it looked like a lot more than an embrace between an owner and his pooch.

Yeaw testified that she and a friend stopped by Peterson’s home to return car keys they had borrowed from his roommate when they caught him in the act. She said she called 911, but no arrest was made until June. 

‘He was having sex with the dog,’ Yeaw said in court at the time. ‘It was disgusting.‘

Muskegon police detective Peter Boterenbrood, who interviewed Peterson after the June incident, said that Peterson told him he was ‘just playing with the dog’ in April, but he became sexually aroused from accidental contact with the animal’s rear.

Court records show that Peterson was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in 1996 in Allegan County, and in 2010 for carrying a concealed weapon and making a false report of a felony.

Man Accused of Bestiality Had Animal Porn, ‘Ritual Room’

The attorney for a man charged with bestiality, killing a domestic animal, torturing or mutilating a vertebrate animal and theft is seeking evaluations by mental health professionals to determine the man’s competency to stand trial.

Defense attorney Casey McCloskey filed the request on behalf of Michael Charles Bessigano, 42, who was charged March 8 after authorities discovered a mutilated Guinea hen on Nov. 14 at Buckley Homestead County Park in Lowell. Several animals had disappeared from the county park since July 2012.

Meanwhile, deputy prosecutor Mark Watson filed a request for a DNA sample, which was set for hearing on March 27 before Lake Superior Court Judge Diane Ross Boswell.

On Nov. 14, the dead fowl was found in a trash can with damage to its anus. A search warrant served at Bessigano’s apartment in the 1600 block of Crestwood Drive resulted in the discovery of feathers from the dead bird and bloody blue jeans Bessigano was wearing.

Police found a significant amount of bestiality pornography, a large rubber wolf head mask and a “ritual room” with an altar, candles and long staffs, one of which contained a large feather on one end and a trident on the other end.

Bessigano has pleaded not guilty to the crimes, which are class D felonies and punishable by a sentence of six months to three years. He is being held without bond until March 26, when he can post $5,000 cash, or $50,000 surety.

Bessigano has served prison time for killing a chicken while having sex with it at the Valparaiso Motel in 2001. While on parole in August 2007 and living in a psychiatric facility in Gary, authorities confiscated thousands of pages of writings, journals, photos, magazines and drawings describing or depicting sexual contact between humans and animals.

GERMANY: Sex With Animals NOW Banned

GERMANY’S upper house of parliament, the Bundesrat, has voted to criminalise for the first time ”using an animal for personal sexual activities” and to punish offenders with fines of as much as $34,000.

It was the final legislative hurdle for a bill the lower house passed in December.

The vote follows months of debate that pitted so-called zoophiles against animal rights and protection advocates. Sexual mores seemed not to play a paramount role.

The ban, which carries only a misdemeanor charge, is an amendment to the country’s animal protection law, which, among other things, regulates animal testing and the sale of animals, and prohibits animal abuse, including ”using an animal for personal sexual activities or making them available to third parties for sexual activities and thereby forcing them to behave in ways that are inappropriate to their species”.

Zoophiles argue that their relationships with their pets, or ”partners” as they prefer, are entirely mutual. Michael Kiok, a co-director of Zoophilic Engagement for Tolerance and Enlightenment (ZETA), said animals were perfectly capable of expressing whether or not they desired sex. “Since last I looked, my dog couldn’t talk, I’m sure that goes for all animals…so how the hell can they express it, flash their bloody eyelashes?? Without a verbal consent, in a court of law…I believe it is still rape!!

Animal-rights groups have criticised the move. But David Zimmermann, who is also a co-director of ZETA, said: ”It’s a sexual aspect that is entirely foreign to most people. They just see a man and think, ‘What terrible things is he doing to that dog?’ “That would be because 99% of  normal people do think its sick & a terrible thing to do…it’s not bloody natural & definitely not the way nature intended it to be either?”

Mr Zimmermann had a Great Dane with which he occasionally had sex but it died four months ago, he said. Now he lives with his similarly zoophilic boyfriend and their celibate Dalmatian. “So now they have decided the dog is celibate??? 

”For me, she’s just a good friend that I care about very, very much. There’s no sex,’‘ he said. “So you say, but how do we know that for sure??”

Milton Couple Faces Bestiality, Drug Charges

“WTF…this couple has kids, what the hell they doing growing illegal drugs & raping dogs?? However, don’t expect a prison sentence, as they have not stolen anything!”

TORONTO – A couple from rural Nassagaweya Twp. face bestiality charges after being busted for allegedly growing pot in a dog kennel, Halton Regional Police said Friday.

Officers executed a search warrant Thursday at the farmhouse on 20th Sdrd., about 70 km west of Toronto, and located a ”sophisticated” indoor marijuana grow-op, police said.

But pot was not all they allegedly found.

“While searching the residence, (officers) seized evidence related to bestiality involving a dog,” police said.

Investigators did not elaborate on what that “evidence” included.

But they claim about $9,500 in harvested marijuana, an undisclosed amount of anabolic steroids and a 12-gauge shotgun were also found in the house.

Two young kids were living at the residence with the accused couple, police said.

The grow-op was allegedly found in a separate building next to the house, both of which are tucked about 500 metres back from the road on the sprawling snow-covered property 20 km northwest of Milton.

Police allege more than 1,600 plants worth about $210,000 were seized from the building, which they claim also housed a dog kennel.

Residents of the area near Mohawk Racetrack, many of whom are horse owners, were shocked to learn of the pot operation in their sleepy community.

And they were even more disturbed by the bestiality accusations.

One neighbour said an “extremely private” older couple, possibly in their 60s, own the home.

It’s unclear how the home-owners are connected to the accused couple, both 34, and the children.

Neighbours said the older man breeds salukis, which are similar to greyhounds, and they suspect that is why there is a kennel on the property.

The home-owners’ donkey is also often seen wandering around the grounds.

Ryan Brett and Donna Fleury were arrested and charged with bestiality and firearms-related offences.

Brett also faces drug possession, production and trafficking charges.

Fleury has since been released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.

Brett appeared briefly in a Milton courtroom Friday and was remanded into custody, so he’ll spend at least the weekend behind bars.

Man Filmed Himself Having Sex With Horse To Send To Ex-Wife

“Sick pervert, don’t care what the circumstances are…it’s no excuse to rape a sentient being!! 

A MAN who filmed himself having sex with a horse sent his ex-wife a video of the event.

Michael Francis Klan, 36, had intercourse with the beast at Fairney View and recorded the incident.

Klan then sent messages to his ex-wife asking if she would like to watch the footage or view any of his photographs of his encounter. “Perverse pig…what was the reason for committing such a disgusting violation against a sentient being…was this his way of asking her back??”

He then sent through a video of the act – which his ex took to the police. “Good for her”

Ipswich District Court was told Klan’s face was obscured in the video but he admitted to detectives that it was him having sex with the animal.

Crown prosecutor Caroline Marco told the court the offence was “disturbing (and) abhorrent” and was aggravated by Klan filming and distributing the material.

A psychiatrist said Klan clearly needed specialised treatment for his issues.

Judge Sarah Bradley said the offence was disgusting and something that outraged the community. She acknowledged it was committed in the context of a marriage breakdown when a number of issues in Klan’s background came to a head at once. “Disgusted & outraged, yet he only gets a suspended sentence?? People like this are disturbed & need to be constantly monitored so they don’t re-offend!”

She was satisfied two years’ probation would be the most appropriate sentence on the condition Klan attend any counselling, treatment or programs he was ordered to do.

Defence barrister Steve Kissick said Klan had had a difficult life leading up to the incident, which occurred on a date between April 23 and May 12. “We’ve all had difficult parts in our lives, but we don’t go out & rape animals…that can be no excuse!”

Mr Kissick said his client had since started a relationship with another woman.

Mr Kissick said Klan’s new girlfriend was supportive of him. “How can women be supportive of a man that committed rape on an innocent animal? And what of that horse? Who did it belong to, no news of the trauma he caused to the horse!!”
